State Tax #21272215 This is a smoke free property. Convenient location, near midtown Tucson. Casita B (850sf) is part of a 15 unit apartment complex where all units are situated around a saltwater pool. It has a fenced in yard for privacy and carefully chosen furnishings for your comfort and enjoyment. Both bedrooms have king size beds with linens and coordinated decor, the living room has leather furniture, a flat screen tv, and the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and dining utensils. A washer and dryer are located in the casita as well. The property is centrally located to all of Tucson's tourist attractions, the University of Arizona and area hospitals. We do provide free secure parking in our gated parking lot for one car per casita. All parking is in assigned parking spaces. Traveling with a second vehicle, they are able to park on the street outside the complex, or if available we do have a few additional parking spaces for rent at $10 per night extra. Dogs up to 60 pounds allowed provided they are not a 'pit bull or pit bull mix', do not bark, and are not left in the unit alone unless crated. There is a limit of 2 dogs per unit. NO OTHER TYPES OF PETS ALLOWED.

Please note: hosting a party, or group gathering such as a wedding, funeral, circus, baby showers, birthday parties, dinner parties etc are not allowed and will result in immediate eviction. Plan to have a couple of friends for family members over please just let us know. They will need to park on the street and you will need to escort them in.

The site is an acre in size, there are 8 cameras that record 24/7 on the property. The cameras are located on the exterior of the buildings-easily viewable by guests and allow the Owners to view the parking lot, property entrances, pool area and rear portion of the site. No cameras view or record inside the buildings or in the private rear yards of each unit.

Pool: there is a large pool in the center of the property that is open 8 am to 8 pm and is for use by paying guests only. All kids 17 and under must be supervised by an adult-the adult must be in the pool area when their underaged guest/child is in the pool area. We do not heat the pool.

Smoking is allowed in parking lot only, smoking is not allowed on other areas on this property. You will be asked to leave the property and forfeit the remaining portion of your payment if found to be smoking in the unit or refuse to smoke only in the parking lot. If smoking is noticed inside our rental, you will be charged for a thorough professional cleaning at a minimum of $250 to clean all bedding, furniture, walls, etc.

Additional charges-

Rental rate is based upon double occupancy (meaning up to 2 people in a unit) We charge for additional guests above 2-this includes kids. Additional guest fee is $30 per person per night. Have someone stay just one night-you need to pay for that guest for that one night ahead of time. You must notify us ahead of time if you do have additional guests stay the night so we can collect the additional fees.

Sales tax is 12.1% and collected for all rental payments and fees.

    We stayed a week in this casita, along with our pup, and really enjoyed our stay. The pictures on the listing don't quite show how nice this casita is. I had a couple of questions about accessibility before I booked, and the owner was extremely quick to respond with accurate information. The casita was very clean when we got there, and well stocked on essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dish and dishwasher soap, hand soap in the bathrooms, etc.). Beds were comfy.The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, glassware, cookware, cooking utensils, hot pads, dish cloths, etc. Not exactly like home, but stocked better than many other properties we've stayed in. Nice washer and dryer, and dishwasher. The casita has a walled-in patio which was great for our pup. The one requirement was totally reasonable... pick up after your pup before you leave! Weather was inconsistent, but it was very nice to sit out on the patio when the weather cooperated.We will definitely go back to Desert Morada when we are back in Tucson. The owners obviously care about the property, and we were happy to stay there.

    We recently spent nine nights here and it was the perfect place for us. All the comforts of home (well, almost!), a safe neighborhood, two grocery stores one minute drive away, and all the shops and restaurants you could want very close by, including the Tucson Mall. The pool looked very inviting but this was December so it didn't get any use. The property was clean, well-kept, and quiet.

    Owners were great to work with, timely responses. Unit was clean & very well stocked. Had gas grills available which was a very nice feature, grilled several nights. Location was great, grocery store about 2 blocks, mall about 1 mile. Road to access was rough, only negative.

    Photos don’t do Maria’s place justice. Very nicely decorated with newer furniture and Southwestern Art. She is a detail person and has a well supplied kitchen and bath.. Very clean casita directly next to the pool with a good view of the kids if you bring any. We did not but would bring our grandkids with out a doubt. My wife who is a tough reviewer said she would stay for 2 months with no hesitation. Great location and excellent security gate which you operate.
