Unfortunately was not happy with my stay first the house is listed as three bed room but they only have two. Also the front door lock was broken and had to wait 30 minutes outside at 1 in the morning to get help and they mention “sorry our door complicated” won’t stay here again

I had a special Bday weekend for my wife with family, When we showed up the pool/Jacuzzi Heater which we paid extra for about 80 x 2 days was not working, I must have called about 10 times then finally was told someone would fix it, never happened until an hour before our last day check out finally someone came over and fixed it. I was told I would be refunded for the heat that did not work that I aid extra for, even had the email and phone message that the refund would be given, as of today a month later and NO-REFUND, so I paid about 200 extra for absolutely nothing - Very disappointed and when I call they say the same over & over that they will get back to me with a reply.

Pros: - Outdoor area is awesome! Pool, hottub, cool art sculptures, plenty of chairs, big table for eating, nice big BBQ grill. - Pool table was fun ... we played it alot. Other games were available too. - Kitchen had plenty of supplies and even spices for grilling. - Parking spots inside the gate. - Close to Old Town LaQuinta with bars and restaurants. Cons: - When we arrived, the code that they provided to get into the house did not work. We had to call to get a new code (which was a pretty quick process, though) - The beds/bedrooms don't really match the listing. The sleeping areas are 2 bedrooms (not 3), a loft and two common rooms with sofabeds. I guess they are considering one of the common rooms a bedroom? But there's just sofabed there (no bed). -The layout is weird. You have to go through the master bedroom (or outside) to get from the kitchen to the main family/rec room. And the loft has a very tight spiral staircase that is hard to navigate. Good space for small kids, I suppose, but tough for grown adults. We opted for the hideabeds instead of the loft for that reason. Hideabeds were comfortable enough. Bottom line: It wasn't perfect but we liked it. We would stay again.

The grounds have lots of quirky features and the pool is immaculate. We spent all day in the pool and had a blast. The games kept us entertained at night time. Be prepared to have a hard time sleeping, the beds are uncomfortable and the fans are noisy. Nice area with lots to do, close to downtown La Quinta.

Ok stay. Pool was nice. It was unfortunate that you have to book the heating before the trip. We wanted to check the weather and the pool temp, and when cold, tried to get heat turned on for the 2nd-5th day, but that couldn’t happen. There were people coming through the gate nearly every day (pool, garbage, gardening), but that wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, layout was awkward and there were some nuances, but we would probably go back.

It was very quiet and relaxing. Spent a lot of time lounging by the pool. The house had all the amenities we needed to have a great time.
