Sunset Serenity was super clean on arrival - and just as described. The game room has EVERYthing my kids needed to spend the evenings after being “out and about” all day. We happened to have perfect weather to explore the many attractions nearby - the beautiful lighthouses and beaches - the aviation museum that lets you get inside the planes and flip switches and controls SO fun! - and that ZOO - OMG so awesome - and truly FREE!! Best part by far tho is coming back to the house - having dinner - and then walking 2 minutes to the best sunset beach we’ve ever SEEN!!! We hope to return in summer months to do the rail ride thing and to more fully enjoy Wildwood boardwalk! All of the beds were super comfy and clean - spacious and bright. HIGHLY recommend this fantastic place to stay!!

Walked into a fun game room. Place was great for a large group. Loved the pool. Beach at bay just down the street but we didn't spend much time there due to horseshoe crab carcasses littering the beach. Great sunsets, though. Wonderful to have towels, washcloths and bedding provided. Communication with owners very prompt. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful home for a large group to stay in. Terrific game room on lower level, bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all, nice loft area. The pool was an added plus, and being so VERY close to the Bay beach was very special.

We stayed at this location for a family getaway and it did not disappoint! There was plenty for kids to do and they were well entertained. The house was accommodating and better than the pictures!

We’ve been renting through VRBO for around 5 years, and this house is definitely among our top choices. The setup and pool were perfect for families. We were 6 adults and 4 kids, and the house offered something for everyone. It was clean, well stocked, and conveniently located. We were there during a nasty weather week, but the house was such a happy place that we still managed to have a great time. I highly recommend it!

Our family enjoyed our stay this week! The house was comfortable and it was great to have the pool when the bay beach experiences low tide. We found all aspects of the house to be wonderful. Plenty of parking also!

Our family had a wonderful stay; check in was smooth, sunsets were beautiful, the game room was used by the kids a ton and we loved the location. We had a few issues with the pool in the beginning of our stay and the owner was very responsive (A communication) and resolved the issue promptly! We couldn’t be happier with our vacation. We would not choose to rent this property again. The hosts were very kind and responsive whenever issues arose, which we greatly appreciated. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It was easy and safe for our kids to walk around. While the bay was conveniently close, it was not ideal for swimming or beach play. The drastic tides left behind mostly mud rather than sand, and the water was often filled with horseshoe crabs and jellyfish. Although the sunsets over the bay were beautiful, we opted to travel to other beaches for our beach outings.The home itself has clearly been well-used. Many of the beach and sand accessories were unfortunately broken or unusable. Midweek, the pool turned green, though the property management team did respond quickly and sent someone to service it.On our final night, a severe storm passed through and caused significant leaking in the bedroom with the crib. The leak was substantial enough that we had to move rooms. While we were advised to catch the water as best we could, it was evident this was not the first time the issue had occurred this season. The host made us aware the window is already scheduled for repair in September. The response from management was simply an apology for the inconvenience. If the leak was already scheduled to be repaired, it would have be fair to give us warning of the leak so we could watch for it. We had hoped for a better experience, but unfortunately, this stay did not meet our expectations.

We had the absolute best time at this beautiful location! Everything is close distance with so many fun activities. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Thank you!

Overall the whole process from booking until our last official day went rather smoothly. All items noted in the description was present and that was plentiful for our family of 6 adults and 3 children (9,8,4 year old). There were games, pool table, table tennis, foosball and basketball game which kept every occupied! The area felt spacious for entire group. The pool was nice but needs to be maintained better (the liner was loose) and more often (green after rainstorm - pictures of before and after will be added). The storm occurred on Wednesday night and Friday morning the water was green. We did not go into the pool because of the state it was in and needing to have a pool treatment. Apparently the people who come to do the pool, do so on a Friday. Deepak was on top of responding to my questions/concerns to which I am thankful.We did have a hiccup one night. There was a significant thunderstorm which caused water from 3rd floor master deck/sliding door travel to our bedroom (queen bedroom off of the main deck) windows. At 10/1030pm this was occurring. I was able to reach the owner rather quickly, but there wasn't any resolution to be made except to use towels to dry the area and he offered to provide a credit for the issue. There are clear issues with water infiltration from improperly installed windows and doors. Some of the windows and doors have started to discolor due to water. Some banisters were loose inside with the stairs and outside on the main deck.

A wonderful property for families! Plenty of games and toys. The house is well stocked. The bay beach is a very short walk. Cape May beaches and Rio Grande a short drive. Don't overlook Fleck's for ice cream, which is only a half mile away.

We were 7 women who graduated high school more than 50 years ago and everyone loved this rental. The home was spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our week stay. The home is very close to the beach. Our stay was the week before Memorial Day and the weather was chilly, so there was no swimming in the bay for us. But sunsets on the beach are gorgeous. And we happened to be there during prime horseshoe crab mating season, which was fascinating. 3 women braved the pool, which hadn’t warmed up yet. The house is a short ride to Cape May and Stone Harbor. Communication with the owner was very good. It should be noted that the stairs to the upper levels are steep. But even my friends with knee and hip replacements were able to tackle them at a slower pace.

Outstanding property and location

We try to get away every year in April. The 6 of us had a great time here. The short walk to the bay beach was great. 15 minute drive to Cape May shopping. The house has everything we needed and was perfect for our weekend. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Sunset Serenity was wonderful. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and kind. There was so much to do for the small children and yet plenty of space for the adults to take a break. The location near the beach was perfect and we were very comfortable in the neighborhood. Since we were there in off season, we had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. The kitchen had almost everything we would need. I would suggest, since the paper goods are there but not guaranteed, you bring things that you use all the time. The only thing we needed to get was storage bags and containers to store things in the refrigerator. I would highly recommend this property and we will hopefully have the opportunity to return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house had many amenities to keep the kids entertained. There was so much to do in the area with just a short drive and the bay was in walking distance. We enjoyed some of the local beaches and the free zoo. A great place for a family getaway! Thank you!!!

Had a nice stay with family including kids. Highlights are communicative host, well stocked home as in description and pictures, and quaint location near bay. Elements of house are a bit worn from use, but overall well maintained.

There were some minor issues & the owner was very responsive. The beach is nearby, less than a block, but unfortunately it was littered with dead horseshoe crabs, both in the sand & water making the beach unusable. We had to travel about 20 minutes to other beaches. There was a pool on the property, but there were some issues with it & wasn’t always usable. The weather was perfect, we managed to dodge 2 major storms on each end of our week😊

The house was lovely and as described. We are a family of 8, and there was plenty of room to spread out. The pool was a big hit (water was nice and warm as the pool is in a perfect location to take advantage of the afternoon sunshine), and we all enjoyed the game room with pool and ping pong tables. Sleeping spaces were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was the lack of chairs outside on the decks. I understand it can get windy, but we have stayed in other beach houses before with sturdy outdoor furniture. There were two huge picnic tables on the side deck, so we could eat outside, but it would have been nice to sit on the third floor balcony and enjoy the view of the bay. But that is a minor thing. The house was amazing! We also enjoyed the very quiet neighborhood, away from the crowds of Cape May itself. We did not feel the bay beach was a good swimming beach, but we took morning and evening walks along the beach as the house is literally about 1 minute from the beach path. It was a short drive to Cape May or North Cape May beaches for a day on the beach. We thought the location was great. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Property was as described and in very good condition. The rec room downstairs is great for kids of all ages (and a great spot to unload vehicles). Walking to the bay for the sunsets was a particular treat! There was one matter that needed attention on day 3 and it was resolved within an hour. That is worth noting in this day and age. The hosts provided a list of great places to visit and it helped in the planning of our trip.

This property is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. The home is a nice size, comfortable, with plenty of amenities. It is within close driving distance to Cape May, Wildwood and Ocean City.
