The place is old, all original cabinetry, bathrooms , etc. It was surface cleaned but spider webs in lamps and items left behind, dust behind furniture, bugs in window sills and hair in the freezer was what we found. If you’re okay with older and not very clean accommodations and you can get a good price then this place should do the job.

The location of this property is the best, with the service of the free Northstar shuttle at your fingertips via the Northstar app. From the front door shuttle pick ups/drop offs, garage parking, hot-tub, to the warm wind-lock entry, this home is filled with charm. Our family of 5 stayed for four nights over the New Year and we thoroughly enjoyed the home. The hot-tub, kept clean and in perfect working condition, was the best apres ski for us every afternoon. The kitchen is well stocked and you can use it for as little as morning coffee, or go all out and cook a hearty family dinner. The large upstairs loft with two twin beds and a sofa-bed, along with the upstairs bedroom just off of the loft was perfect for us, with beds to spare. The rooms/loft setup allowed each of our three young adult sons to have their own space. The downstairs master/ensuite was a nice little getaway from the main living space. Beds are comfortable and feel new, there are ample extra linens for cold nights (the master bedroom gets cold), and the home is well stocked with towels and extra pillows. The wifi works great and the television had all the available channels. The home is sightly dated, but the charm and cabin feel of this home made it perfect for our family. At one point we needed to contact the property manager because we accidentally locked our car in the garage, within two minutes the PM got back to us to offer the necessary assistance. We had a wonderful stay here.

The management company was very responsive. Terrific location if somewhat dated amenities. Would stay again.

We loved our week at this house. It is very quiet and yet so close to so many activities. We loved the trail right at the end of the street for an easy walk. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was just me and my husband but would be a very fun place for a family. The hot tub was fantastic - great way to relax at the end of a busy day!

Grill is not usable - no brush provided. Dirty floors - property management only does surface cleaning. Crumbs and dirt under all furniture. Clean your own house after staying - property management company makes you drive 10 minutes to take the trash to the dumpster because there is no bear trash receptacle at property. In addition, you have to strip beds, start laundry, start dishwasher… and you get to pay the cleaning fee too! No streaming access - tv is not a smart tv, bring your own HDMI cord for laptop or fire stick. Slippery walkway - property management company did not salt, but we found some in the closet outside. Very dangerous slippery deck. Hot tub, fireplace, and shuttle to mountain are all great amenities. Dated, but nostalgic feeling cabin.

Place was great. Some quirks here and there but perfect for our family and teenage boys. Place was clean, Hot tub was hot, and location was great for hiking and hitting the bike park. Would definitely recommend!

Great house with more than enough room for my large family. The house is located within feet of many trails to hike. Absolutely beautiful location with plenty of space to run and play outside. We all had a wonderful vacation.

Went during mid April, had a great experience at this house—had all the amenities I expected and more, and the shuttle service to the resort saved a lot of parking hassle.

Enjoyed the ease of the shuttle Funky dated house but comfortable Hot tub was a little quirky but works Heater sounds like a freight train, use the fire place for heat. Master bathroom is almost unusable, It was a great place for my wife and my son and I, The dog really enjoyed it also.

Our family of six (two parents, three kids, one grandparent) had a great time at the cabin. The living room is very comfortable for six people and we cooked all of our meals in the kitchen. Everything is a bit dated, but it’s warm and the huge windows provide wonderful views of the winter wonderland outside. The shuttle picks you up right in front of the driveway, which was extremely convenient. The kids built a sledding track out back through the trees, which was great fun. Our youngest loved the sleeping nook off the living room, while our two older ones slept in the loft (which has two beds), and my dad slept in the upstairs bedroom. The master bedroom has large windows with beautiful views. Plenty of space for all. The washer and dryer are excellent, and the oven and dishwasher were in good condition also. Plenty of silverware, pots and pans, spices, oils, etc for everything we wanted to cook. Only downsides are that the toilet in the master bathroom clogs on almost every use, requiring plunging, and there is only one shower. It out some strain on the common bathroom but it wasn’t a huge deal.
