This home is our #1 choice for a lakeside stay. We have stayed here for our annual fishing trips for 4 years. Best kitchen ever. So well equipped. Large enough for us to spread out but still with the feeling of cozy. The beds are comfortable. The dock is where we stay for Saturday so we are still fishing. The grill is super nice. Activities include ping pong and corn hole. The fire pit is set up and ready to use. Jim, our host, is so easy to contact and talk with. This is where we will keep going back for our annual fishing trip.

The house was beautiful! The host was very friendly & made sure we had everything we needed! Only went a few short days but it was exactly what we needed. Very relaxing. Thank you so much for the hospitality & letting us enjoy your beautiful home!

Our stay was lovely with the house being removed far enough from the lake to spend most of the time on the lawn. The porch, fire pit, and hammock are all so welcoming and relaxing.

Relaxing lakefront property with everything you need. The kitchen is newly renovated with new counter tops and appliances. Fishing dock, firepit, lots of parking space. A home away from home. Great host! We'll be back!

Great place to stay and the hosts were very helpful. Property is as advertised and had everything we needed to have a great, long weekend. We were able to catch a few gar, catfish, and white bass off of the dock at night and had a great time.

Home was beautiful and clean. It rained some during our stay and were entertained. There were games to play and a ping-pong table!! I loved sitting in the sunroom watching the squirrels and ducks. We caught a lot of fish off the dock. 30 pounds. This was our second but not last stay.

Loved this house and had such a good family vacation. Owner was very attentive and checked in frequently to make sure we didn’t need anything. When we had one issue and notified him he has someone there with in the hour. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

There is not a single thing I would change about our stay at this beautiful property. The owners were gracious and kind enough to check on us to make sure all was well. The property is absolutely amazing with wonderful views of Lake Marion sunsets. The house is well stocked and was very comfortable. Charleston and Columbia are an easy drive. If you are a fisherman beware, large catfish roam just a short cast off the dock. Don’t hesitate to book this paradise! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Gill for your hospitality! This place was amazing. It was my husband and his friend that stayed for a fishing tournament. Plenty of boat parking, very helpful owners, super clean and spacious. It was their favorite place that they have ever stayed.

The weather wasn’t the best but we still had a great time.

Beautiful. Very clean home. Depth of water at end of pier 6 feet, water was down from normal. Senior citizens should take a suitable chair for sitting on pier. Overall very nice with Beautiful Lake Marion sunrises and sunsets!

Our family decided to do a Thanksgiving vacation this year and selected this location. We were not disappointed! The house was comfortable and homey. I cooked a full Thanksgiving meal without having to supply any cookware. It had plenty of room to accommodate our family of 10. We enjoyed the dock and parked our boat there to have easy access. The owners were great and reached out to us when we arrived to ensure everything was ok. Thanks! We will rent again.

100% perfect plenty of items to use and fishing was great got a 25 pound blue cat off the dock as well as 2 giant stripers as well as crappy and perch. just cast to the left in Gibbins hole look on the map on the wall directly in front of dock is a brush pile to the right is ok. nice and quiet host had lots of games and food available room are perfect . well i cant sat enough good things and i can not think of any bad things to talk about 'THERE IS NONE LOL thank you for the best stay ever we will be back ; trader mikes sporting goods /marina greenwood lake nj.

Older lake house with wonderful views and comfortable beds. There are included channels on the TVs, which was convenient. Very involved host. This listing does require a secondary short-term rental agreement to be signed before arrival. One-site security cameras, along with their locations and additional rules, are disclosed in the secondary rental agreement. We had a very relaxing time and communicated directly to the host regarding important improvements we would suggest. Thank you!

This was our second stay at this cozy lake house. The owners are exceptionally hospitable and friendly. So easy to communicate with for a super relaxing stay on the banks of Lake Marion. Beautiful lake views with lots of windows to enjoy them. I hope we can stay there again soon!

House was very clean and comfortable. Large well furnished kitchen. Really enjoyed the large relaxing sunroom that gave a great view of the lake. Nice Dock on deep water.

The lake house is clean, well stocked and has an amazing view of lake. Unfortunately the mayflies wouldn’t allow us to enjoy the pier and outdoor space. We did enjoy the view from the sunroom. Granted that the pest are out of the property owners control, a blower was provided to help clear out the mayflies remains. We would definitely rent this property again just not during Mayflies season.
