Dazzling Oceanfront Views at Your Own Tropical Oasis, steps from the Beach

It was very welcoming, great space for 6 people, location was central. Beautiful character home.

Pluses. Location, location, location!; views!; comfortable beds; lovely porch; house is nicely recessed from street; easy good parking; beach chairs/ snorkels & more in shed; lots of cleaning substances and practical items available; outside shower and separate hose to clean items and self off; plenty of overhead fans; nice dishwasher; it’s on a one way quiet street with plenty of walkers & bike riders; washer & dryer in house; plenty of dishes, pans glasses & mugs; large dining table was great for eating & games; lots of chairs inside & outside. We had a lot of fun! Cons: freezer only cooled but didn’t freeze items; a few cockroaches visited bathrooms; lots of ants, including covering all the silverware in a drawer – we had to wash all the silverware; wine glasses & others were pretty dusty / dirty – we had to wash them; a cockroach had obviously lived in a muffin pan for quite awhile; overall things were not as clean as hoped for, but this is a difficult environment to keep things clean; check-in time was 3:00 p.m., we arrived at 3:30 p.m. & cleaning crew still working.

The location was great. We could walk to Baby Beach. Since we were there with young children that was helpful. I t was also easy to drive to either side of the island from the location.

We so enjoyed the house and property! The location is close to town, adjacent to a bike and walking path, and watching the tides roll in and out was wonderful.Our family fished in the ocean right in front of the house, and walked along the waters edge.We had everything we needed in the house and the host was in excellent communication.We would stay here again!

The location is amazing and the house was beautiful. Wonderful to sit out on the porch and look at the amazing ocean. The only thing that was surprising was the number of ants and cockroaches. We followed all of the recommendations of keeping food in Ziploc bags and taking out the trash regularly. We made sure and not leaving anything out they could get into. Might want to provide bait and bug spray or possibly have the home sprayed before guests arrive. Additionally, the front door lock was quite a challenge. The owner was very responsive regarding this and was kind enough to send someone out to look at it, but even after that it never comfortably locked. Overall the trip was great!!!

We had an absolute blast staying in this beautiful, waterfront cottage - the location is perfect! Right along an amazing bike trail that hugs the coast, walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. The cool, ocean breeze was perfect for sleeping at night. Snorkeling right out front brings green sea turtles and so many tropical fish! The place even comes with two sea kayaks for exploring the area. I highly recommend staying here - this was such an incredible place!!!

The property was very well kept, Clean and comfortable. People walking by everyday wanted to know about the house.

The cottage was absolutely adorable with wonderful details including decor and furnishings. It was also so well stocked with essentials. The view from the front porch was perfect.

The Oceanfront Hawaiian-Style Cottage was a perfect fit for our family--it was an excellent setting, very comfortable and well provisioned with dishes, beach equipment, towels, bedding, etc. --everything we needed to enjoy a Hawaiian Paradise. The welcoming book was excellent--easy to read and very helpful with its breadth of topics and instructions. The view of the sunrise was extremely beautiful and very energizing every morning. The front porch and the openness of the home with the breeze flowing through from the open front door to the open back door was very refreshing. The location was very convenient for our travel to local beaches, our Blue Hawaiian Helicopter ride, our tubing adventure, to local farmers markets, shops and restaurants (food trucks), and to both the North Shore and South Shore attractions. Thank you for making your home available for us.

We had a great time. The property, for the most part is as advertised. The people in charge of maintaining the property did an excellent job fixing a couple of small issues.The location and view are fabulous. It is strategically located to lost of places on the island.To be perfect, the lock issue at the front door should be fixed.Thanks

We had a wonderful time in Kauai and the best part was staying at this beautiful vintage Hawaiian cottage waking up to the sunrise was so magical, peaceful and beautiful. We will miss the serenity.

Nice vacation on the beach
