Stayed May 17, 2019I loved the view. The cottage was so beautiful inside and out and it felt like home. So peaceful and quiet. Very clean on the inside and a homey feeling. We will definitely be back! Everyone should know about this cottage

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Comfortable beds, clean, cozy. The view is amazing. If you're looking for a place away from it all but not too far away, this is perfect! We arrived to sweet welcoming notes and a fabulous bottle of wine. We felt free and comfortable. We left in our three night stay only a few times to get food, returning to stay the entire day on the porch watching the cows and sky pass. It really is “the love house!”

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Quiet, beautiful house, with fantastic views from the wrap around porch. Every detail was carefully thought out by the owners. Comfortable beds, plenty of room for 2 couples. We will surely book again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our second time staying at Das Liebe and we enjoyed it even more this time. The drive into town is always very nice and being out in the hills is always peaceful. I love having a cup of coffee and watching the sun rising over the bluff from the front porch. David and his wife are wonderful hosts! We will definitely keep this house on our list next time we come to town.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there with our two grandchildren. Far enough out of town to be able to sit on the porch and enjoy the view. Yet close enough to enjoy all that Fredericksburg has to offer.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our second stay at Das Liebe Haus - we love staying there! It's a beautiful setting and wonderful cabin, with everything we could possibly want. Hosts are very friendly and cabin is very comfortable. We will be back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Das Liebe Haus was the perfect place to stay in the hills. The home was extremely cozy and the view of the hills couldn't be better! The ONLY negative thing was that the AC wasn't very strong in some parts of the home, but there are plenty of fans. As well as a fireplace for the wintertime! We'll definitely have to return!
