We didn’t spend much time there at all during the day, as we hung out at our bigger rental house, but it was great for extra bedrooms (with en-suites) for guests to retreat to at night for some quiet sleep. The home was clean and on a beautiful wooded lot. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this again if we had a smaller group or needed extra space.

The house was very clean and comfortable. My family of 6 enjoyed our stay. The only reason I removed a star was because of the beds (sorry!)

Was a nice home had everything we needed. Only downfall is the foot board broke on one of the beds and guest slept on couch for one night.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience staying at the rental in Galena Illinois the property was exactly as described on the website clean comfortable and dog friendly which was a huge Plus for us the furniture and beds were cozy and the space was beautifully decorated with especially enjoyed the eclectic art collection including pieces from France wine cork art and even a dart board that added a fun touch the location was peaceful and private yet conveniently close to the General Store a local restaurant and the golf course downtown Galena was a short 15 minute drive away make it an easy to explore while still enjoying the quiet of the property one small issue the coffee maker either needed instructions or wasn't working properly it took nearly 2 hours to brew in the coffee didn't taste right that aside everything else was smooth I had a couple of questions about accessing the website for my Android phone and the management was quick to respond and sent helpful PDF documents overall a lovely State and well managed property would definitely recommend

Nice property. It provided us with the space we needed to gather as a family. Loved that there are bedrooms on the main floor. Mattress in the left bedroom on main level needs to be replaced.

Quiet location but close enough to Galena for an easy trip. Only issue was the coffee maker. With 6 coffee drinkers waiting 40 mins for a pot of coffee was annoying. But everything else was great. Highly recommend

The house was big enough for our group of six adults dog, with plenty of places to spread out and relax. We were able to use the hot tub until the temps dropped below 10 degrees but there were plenty of other things to do. The house isn't far from downtown Galena and is an easy drive with only a few twists and turns. The fireplace kept us warm and we had plenty of firewood for cozy nights at home. I would highly recommend this rental.

Awesome spot for a winter getaway with the whole family! Each bedroom has its own bathroom, huge dining table for meals and games, hot tub on the lower porch, gorgeous wooded lot! We could not have asked for more.

Plenty of room and nice warm options for our ski trip with fireplace and hot tub. Loved the number of bathrooms for each room and it would be a great option for couples traveling together! The kitchen table has loose leafs which needs repair, but had a lovely stay.

We had everything we needed! Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of pillows and towels. Hot tub was wonderful! Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a group of 7 and this hone was perfect! Nestled in a wooded neighborhood. The screened in porch was perfect for our morning coffee and for game nights. The hot tub on the back porch was nice & private, with trees as a backdrop. Lots of room, comfy beds & nicely decorated.

The house was great for our needs. We have 4 couples that travel together and it's so nice for each couple have our own bedroom and bathroom! The area is beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the Galena area. There are so many things to do. Thank you for sharing your house.
