Stayed Nov 7, 2025Pros: house set-up was very accommodating and well decorated for our group. The property itself was very nice and friendly. Cons: the house was not very clean and dishes were dirty-looking. This may be due to the water quality but definitely off-putting if you wanted or needed to use anything.

Stayed Sep 11, 2025We stayed at D6 retreat because we were attending a family wedding in the area. We needed a place that could hold 11 people, and this place fit the bill perfectly. The kids enjoyed hiking on the beautiful hill country property and swimming in the pool. The house is very open and comfortable and with a large group there was plenty of room at the table and large bar area for meals. So, if you are looking for a place for a large group to stay, we can highly recommend D6 Retreat. All photos show true to date what the house looks like.

Stayed May 7, 2025While the pictures are beautiful and the description states luxury, it is far from. We were here staying with family and friends for my daughter‘s wedding. The house was dirty, the microwave was absolutely disgusting as well as the inside of the oven, the floors were gritty and grimy the guest bathtub would not drain because it was so filled with hair and grime. All the toilets were dirty, and even had hair along the rim when you lifted the seat. The entire house is in great need of paint. There are rips in the linoleum flooring. The master bedroom bed is being held up by cinderblock in the middle with an actual Roach motel sitting beside it. The guest room with the full size bed is nothing but foam mattresses that you sink into and cannot even turn over, there is no way two people can sleep in this bed comfortably because you roll in the middle and stuck. The other two bedrooms beds were extremely hard.I did not reach out to the host due to. We were here for my daughter‘s wedding and this was the last thing I wanted to deal with on her special day. Lots of pictures were taken.of the condition of the house. We stay with VBRO often and this is the first negative review I have ever written

Stayed Apr 18, 2025Your house was close to our wedding venue. The grounds were quiet and peaceful. The bedroom arrangement was nice that they were at both ends of the house. The kitchen island was so nice for being able to gather while we were cooking and eating.
