Cute and cozy cabin with fenced private yard! Close to everything and the lake!

The cottage had everything we needed. The host was very congenital and helpful.

The kitchen is fully equipped. The cabin is warm and private. The backyard has a privacy fence. The host is the greatest and is very accommodating. Yes, I will stay here again if I come to the area.

It was so cute and cozy. My daughter didnt want to leave.

This was a beautiful little cabin, perfect for a long weekend. Or, if you're lucky, a whole week.

The cabin is so cute! The decor is all woodsy themed with bears and deer and fish. The backyard is amazing. Cute little fireplace, a hammock, totally fenced in yard, string lights, tiki torch, grill, patio set- the whole 9. Even darts and cornhole. Best part? The backyard is mostly under a huge tree- so even when it was sprinkling- we didn’t get wet. The kitchen is tiny, but it does the job. The mattress in the master is SO COMFORTABLE. The walk/drive to the beach and pier area is very short- the neighbors were quie. The stores, gas stations, bars, and restaurants were all very close in proximity. Every place up there is just quaint, cute, and exactly what we were looking for in a get away. The host was extremely responsive and helpful! I would definitely recommend this place!

Very adorable cabin, only problem we had was the toilet plugged but james got help straight away. Wonderful stay lovely private yard. Not much of a beach you have yo go further a field. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin. Not for disabled though

Amazing hosts! The amenities provided beat most other locations we had considered and the beds challenge some hotels. They checked in with prior to our stay and checked in with us prior to leaving. Highly recommend! We will use this location again.

The cabin was great! Clean. Comfortable bed upstairs. Kitchen had everything I neeed. Shower was good. Very quiet neighborhood. It was decorated nicely. Everywhere we looked we found something new. Living room chairs and couch...also comfy. I had a nice stay...thx

This property was exactly as described! I was looking for a fair priced location for one; and this was it! If you are looking to have up to 6 stay- it may feel cramped….. but you will absolutely get your moneys worth, and more! It was perfect for myself. All I wanted was a place to sleep after exploring the area, and a place to cook a steak near a bonfire. The fenced enclosure of the property, gave me the solitude I was looking for. Inside provided everything I needed- if I had chosen to show up with nothing more than a backpack. My trip was perfect, and this location was a big reason! Thank you.

We had a relaxing getaway at this cozy cottage and it had everything we needed for a few days stay. Communication with the owner, James, was impeccable and without delays! We simply enjoyed our downtime from work and some shopping in a few small towns within a 1/2 hr drive. Thank you, James and Piper, for sharing your comfy, cozy cottage with us!

Fantastic little cabin for a small group. Close to bars,bait shops,restaurants, big and small grocery stores. Excellent communication with owner will stay again next year.

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely little cottage. My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway and this suited perfectly. Loved that the neighborhood is respectful of others and not noisy, at least during the off-season time we were here. Also very close (walking distance) to the community church. The cottage itself was just as pictured. Small and cozy, with all the essentials provided. Bedding, towels, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Each time I thought “oh no, I wonder if they’ll have …” and checked the cupboards, I found what I needed! Can opener, strainer, cutting board, even a pizza cutter. I can’t speak to what it’s like in summer or full-on winter, but for early December, this is the cabin if you want a quiet, relaxing vacation!

Perfect place for a couple of bass fisherman up for a tournament.

Cute and cozy cabin was perfect for a long weekend of relaxation. It was convenient to everything in Houghton Lake. We got to spend quality time with family and had the perfect landing spot between our time at the lake and riding go-carts. These hosts thought of everything! All we needed was food. We played Uno and Cornhole and had a couple of campfires. Even got to see movies that we hadn't had a chance to enjoy yet. My grandparents had a cabin nearby for years and this trip reminded me of my summers with them. I hope our grandson will cherish the memories we made with him just as much.

Stayed for 4 days in July. The place is very cute. Neat, clean and beds are comfortable. I am fussy about beds because I have had neck surgery. I would recommend this cottage! Close to restaurants and activities around Houghton area.

We loved this house. The best part about is the owners thought of everything. The kitchen had every thing you might need: cookware, paper products, great selection of spices, condiments, etc. The fenced in back yard suited us perfect. We loved that there were hammocks, corn hole and very comfortable yard furniture. We spent so much time outside. Oh, and we loved the shower :)
