Custom Villa with Stunning Themes at Encore

Initially I wanted to give this property a bad review but that wouldn't be accurate. They could improve on cleaning the property thoroughly and ensuring the air conditioning works before guests arrive. The internet was a major inconvenience because it didn't work with all the TVs and there were too many remotes to figure it out. The property has a lot of potential.

TLDR: Roaches, broken AC, dirty pool, empty promises from Jeeves. We 4 families have been vacationing together in Florida (Destin, Tampa, Orlando) for the past 17 years. It’s the annual trip we always look forward to. This week was by far the most disappointing and uncomfortable stay of any home. The good short list. for paying 9000 for the week. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Private pool. Plenty of space in 2 fridges. Now the bad. Roaches, roaches roaches. I’m sure the response to this review will be “it’s Florida. They come with the territory”. Like I said, we’ve vacationed in homes for 17 years. First year I’ve ever seen a roach. Let alone 10-12 through the week. The highlight was when my wife was washing her face and one crawled up the drain to say hi. Called Jeeves our first day there, who promised to send a pest control person. Never showed all week. Resorted to spraying Raid around the home ourselves. Broken AC. The second floor never got below 77 during the day and at night. Called Jeeves. Promises to send an AC tech. Got a guy who was nice enough but didn’t do anything besides change the air filter. Promised someone would come work on the system. (Most likely needed just a quick recharge of refrigerant). So the 7 bedrooms had to deal with humid summer nights all week. Dirty pool. Called Tuesday to have someone come clean. Never showed.

We had a great time here. Overall the property was as described, and everyone had a blast. The water park was so much fun, and the pool was great. We had a bit of an issue getting into the unit (door lock was down, and master key was gone), but Jeeves was there within minutes working to resolve the issue. The house was very clean which was great. The rental would benefit from a bit of a carpet and wall refresh, but that didn’t take from our enjoyment of the week.

This house had multiple cockroaches. It made the stay very uncomfortable and unsettling. When I made the owner aware upon return, they provided no compensation of any sort. Super disappointed.

The house was great. Clean, equipped with all that was needed and at a great location. We will definitely go back to this property for our family vacation.
