This was our third stay at the cottage...we feel very at home and look forward to visiting again! The cottage is exactly as pictured; very charming, clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. We love that the cottage is walking distance to town; great area for lots of dog walks. Great communication with Vance. The welcome banana bread and wine are such a treat!

This home is absolutely beautiful — thoughtfully crafted with attention to detail in every corner. The décor features bright pops of color and an inviting mix of textures, complemented by interesting coffee table books that make the space feel both stylish and personal. Every fixture and finish is lovely, from the elegant tilework to the lighting and cabinetry.What I especially appreciated is that it’s not just form over function — the house truly has everything I needed. There’s ample closet space, a washer and dryer, and the bathrooms are both elegant and practical. It’s clear that comfort was just as much a priority as design.The location couldn’t be better — just a two-block walk to great shopping and restaurants. The host was easy to reach and made check-in and check-out effortless. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-appointed home in a perfect location.

The home was spotless and beautiful, inside and out! The location is a perfect distance from the town and beach. We walked everywhere. The huge yard was private and peaceful. The landscape and flowers were absolutely gorgeous. We had beautiful weather so we were able to enjoy the cozy porch and grill. Everything was perfect!! Vance was so kind and made check-in a breeze. My family and I are hoping to return next fall.

We loved our week-long stay here! The house had everything we needed, and then-some. The property is beautiful. Loved all the flower boxes! The front porch was a popular spot for naps on the swing, coffee in the morning, a glass of wine in the evening, and everything in-between. The location cannot be beat. Less than a 5-minute walk to town. Plenty of space for our family. Vance was a wonderful host. We loved the welcome goodies he left for our arrival. Very welcoming. We'll be back!

This was our second year in a row staying at the cottage. I’d like to say how terrible it was so that it would always be available, but once again it was wonderful, for my partner, her dog and me. The house is well designed, built, maintained, furnished and stocked. You should want for nothing. It’s also well located, walking distance to downtown and within a 20-30 minute drive to all other sites and activities. We would highly recommend it (except for August, as that’s when we like to go!)

From our first communication with Lance when we inquired about the property til our Monday morning farewells, the “cottage” (nope, it’s a 4 bed/2 1/2 bath house!) was a perfect home base to have friends experience the beauty and inspiration of northern Michigan for the first time. While my wife and I have been coming up for golf and walks and color and everything for 40 years, friends from the northeast had not ventured up. They fell in love and we’re already working on our calendars for our 2026 visit! Two thumbs WAY up!! Thank you, Lance!

Made a last minute plan to rent this home in the heart of Harbor Springs - location, home, amenities were all as advertised - home was well stocked with all the needs expected and then some. Even better was the communication from Vance who was highly responsive and accommodating of our needs.

Awesome home, tons of room and very comfortable. Easy access to downtown Harbor Springs, ski hills, Petoskey, and more. Great host, easy to communicate with and super helpful.

We enjoyed our June stay at the cottage so much that we came back for a September visit! Once again: beautiful downtown cottage; exactly as pictured; very clean and comfortable; close to everything; great communication with Vance. We can't wait to come back next year!

We stayed five days, four nights and had a wonderful time. The home was perfectly located to walk to everything in Harbor Springs and its myriad of shops and great dining. I was nice to largely leave the car at home. The home was well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were spotless. The home was well stocked with anything a visitor would need. We wanted for nothing. Our host Vance was welcoming and quick to respond. The grounds were lovely and filled with many flowering plants. Our favorite spot was the front porch with its swing. The house is dog friendly and our pup enjoyed her stay as well! Small tip, many shops and restaurants welcome dogs onto their premise in Harbor Springs. We'd recommend it. You won't go wrong.

Such a beautiful cottage—every detail! Very clean and comfortable. Exactly as pictured. We loved the close proximity to town. Excellent communication with Vance; quick responses to any questions.
