Captain Alexander's vacation rentals offers a totally smoke free environment if you or any of your guests smoke please do not book your vacation with the Captain. The home offers central airconditioning you will find the kitchen comes equipped with all new appliances Dishwasher, fridge with ice maker electric self cleaning oven and lots more. Our private deck has a Weber Gas grill, and pellet smoker. The 5 person Thermo Spa, is designed to improve your life. A true outside shower hot and cold water when returning from the beach so that all the sand can be left outside. There is a patio with table and chairs. And when it is time to call it a night there is a Queen size bed, in 2 of the bedrooms and 2 Twin beds in the third bedroom. At Captain Alexanders you can pickup all your emails as we provide high speed wireless internet. My wife Ruth and I are in the vacation rental business for over 40 years. So we know just what you would like on your vacation. And we deliver one of the cleanest well maintained homes on Cape Cod. Just remember this is a smoke free home there is no smoking on the property. If you smoke you will be asked to leave, no questions asked. We never give out our homes to any realtor you deal with the owners directly and we stand up infront of our homes. You can talk with Us as we know the Cape and as a young boy my family has been vacationing on Old Cape Cod since 1957 when Jodi's Pizza and the go-carts first opened, and the old camp ground was the in place to rent with all the teenagers, along with Thompson's Clam Bar.

Captain Alexanders Home is only 3 tenths of a mile to the warm waters of Nantucket Sound and the Harwich Beaches. Our three bedroom home is fully Air conditioned. For your security and safety our property has security cameras on the exterior.

Important information If you elect not take VRBO trip protection insurance we will need a $500 security deposit which is refundable if there is no damage. We will be in touch on how to make that payment before your arrival.
We are also pet friendly but require a pet fee of $200

Maybe you simply want to become a better cook for your family and friends. Our gourmet kitchen makes cooking a lot more fun and a lot less challenging, regardless of your skill level in the kitchen.
This kitchen holds many of the features of a gourmet kitchen: a large French door extra deep door in door refrigerator and freezer; quality stove with a five burner glass cooktop; and Airfryer. Extra deep under the counter sink and hands free faucet. Bosch supper quite dishwasher. A gourmet kitchen doesn’t have to look like it belongs in a restaurant.
Some gourmet kitchens resemble the setup you’ll find on a Food Network or Cooking Channel show: At Captain Alexander’s you will find top quality cookware a good selection of stainless steel and non-stick frying pans. The captain enjoys his hand at cooking and his first mate is a mixture of French and Italian so you know she enjoy being creative in the kitchen. You will not be disappointed with the top quality utensils and flatware provided here a Captain Alexander’s. We ourselves when traveling have been very disappointed in the kitchens in the various rental properties that we have stayed in over the years so therefore we are very meticulous about what we provide.

Our Non Smoking air conditioned home has all the ingredients for a super vacation on Cape Cod. Captain Alexanders Hideaway is not for smokers as there is no smoking on the property.. for your safety and security security cameras are in use around the exterior of the property. A full laundry with front load washer. We are well within walking distance to Earle Street Beach and only one mile to Harwichport.

Conveniently located midway between Cape Cod Canal and Provincetown, Captain Alexander's is central to all the Cape has to offer. A short bike ride to Cape Cod Rail Trail (Bike Trail through the towns of Cape Cod), award winning Cranberry Valley Golf Course, central to shopping, major highway, theater,(Harwich JR. Theater 1 mile), nantucket ferry right in Harwich Port. and Martha's Vineyard Ferry (Hyannis) is nearby. So come to Old Cape Cod and find one of the best vacation homes in West Harwich Massachusetts.

The primary renter will need to sign this waiver which will be emailed to you and then returned to us before check in

AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS FOR USE OF THERMO SPA/HOT TUB
AT CAPTAIN ALEXANDERS WEST HARWICH MASSACHUSETTS: The Primary renter agrees by signing this agreement that he has spoken to and shown this agreement to renter's family members, guests, invitees, agents, and/or employees. Renter further agrees that all above-mentioned will shower and clean feet upon use of hot tub. Furthermore, agreement is made that no oils, lipstick, or makeup, bubble bath, soaps, other liquids, or any other harmful materials will be used in the hot tub. No glass products whatsoever are allowed in or around the hot tub. Our hot tub is inspected, chemicals adjusted after each renter has checked out, and refilled regularly. It is normal to see white particles in the water which is the bromide sanitizing. Please do not use the hot tub coming from the beach until you showered and removed any suntan lotion and changed your bathing suit. Bathing suits can and will collect sand and sand will get into the hot tub. If any items such as soaps, bath products, food, alcohol, etc. are found in the hot tub, the renter will be charged a cleaning fee of $100.00 Damage to the cover will result in a $400 charge. Cover should remain on the hot tub at all times when not in use. Renter agrees that there will be no children that are in diapers or potty training in the hot tub. No horseplay in the hot tub, as well as not to sit on, jump on, or misuse the hot tub cover in any manner. Renter agrees that within one hour of arrival, renter will report any problems or questions with the hot tub to Captain Alexander’s at 706-363-6097 The renter further agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Captain Alexander’s, and it’s owners, agents and employees from any and all claims, damages liabilities, or losses whatsoever arising out of or in any way associated with the renters use of the hot tub, including but not limited to death, personal injury, or property damage. The agreement and release is hereby incorporated into and made a part of any other agreement between the renter and Vacation Rental By Owner with whom you may have booked Captain Alexander’s. In the event legal action is commenced to interpret or enforce the terms of this Agreement and costs, whether incurred during litigation, at trial, or on appeal. By signing this document, the renter acknowledges and represents that (s)he has read the terms hereof and understands the legal effect of his/her signature. HOT TUB GUIDELINES: ▪ YOU ARE USING THE HOT TUB AT YOUR OWN RISK. ▪ PREGNANT WOMEN, PERSONS WITH HEART DISEASE, DIABETES OR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE PROBLEMS, AND ELDERLY PEOPLE SHOULD NOT USE A HOT TUB OR SPA WITHOUT A DOCTOR’S PERMISSION. ▪ WE DO NOT ADVISE YOUNG CHILDREN TO USE THE HOT TUB. In the event that you allow a minor to use the HOT TUB, they must BE ACCOMPANIED AT ALL TIMES. ▪ HOT TUB TEMPERATURES CANNOT BY LAW EXCEED 104 DEGREES. ▪ NEVER USE A HOT TUB OR SPA ALONE. ▪ LIMIT TIME IN THE HOT TUB OR SPA TO NO MORE THAN 30 MINUTES NO GLASS PRODUCTS WHATSOEVER IN OR AROUND HOT TUB. ▪ DO NOT USE THE HOT TUB OR SPA IF THE WATER TEMPERATURE IS MORE THAN 104 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. ▪ THE HIGH WATER TEMPERATURE IN A HOT TUB OR SPA WILL ACCELERATE DROWSINESS. IF A PERSON HAS CONSUMED ALCOHOL OR IS TAKING DRUGS, WILL INCREASE THE RISK OF DROWNING.
