Asheville, North Carolina
The lower level of our home will be your own private, beautifully decorated space with its own entrance. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with a heated mattress pad, bedside tables w/lamps, and a closet. The living room has a combo sectional sofa and footrest that easily converts to a very comfortable queen size bed. There's also a large screen t.v. with fire stick and includes HBOMax, Netflix, and Amazon Prime video, as well as a Sonos player for music. The kitchenette is stocked with a coffee maker, coffee and tea, microwave, mini refrigerator, sink, dishes, glassware and silverware. The bathroom with quartz countertop has a beautiful tiled shower. You will have your own private, covered deck overlooking the creek with a table and 2 chairs to enjoy your breakfast or an evening glass of wine. You'll be able to walk to numerous breweries (heck, you can roll down the hill to New Belgium Brewery), restaurants (Hole donuts, The Admiral, and Taco Billy are right around the corner), wine bars, music venues, shops, and the River Arts District; it's a quick jaunt to quirky downtown Asheville or the Biltmore Estate; kayak or float down the French Broad River; and just a quick car ride to a multitude of gorgeous hikes. Very easy access to everything Asheville is known for!
My husband and I just came back from a wonderful stay at Kelly’s VRBO in West Asheville. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Check in was a breeze, the apartment was well appointed and located in an optimal walkable location. Kelly was so hospitable. She left us some local treats in the home to greet us and checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here.
Walkable to New Belgium and a few good restaurants. Easy access to all of Asheville but onsite parking is tight.
We loved staying at this Creekside Home! Kelly was such a communicative host - sending a long email prior to arrival, sharing her cell #, providing lots of recommendations, etc. Kelly lives upstairs so she was able to come down when we arrived to show us the ins and outs of the apartment - she even brought us some local beer to taste that was delic. The apartment itself was great - easy to get in and out, a lovely porch overlooking the woods/creek, an awesome shower and comfy bed. We took advantage of the location and walked almost everywhere - river arts district, breweries, even to downtown. We would most definitely stay here again!
Property was exactly as described. Owner was beyond hospitable in every way! Very private and able to walk to eat and go to some breweries! Very convenient and highly recommend!!
This space was perfect for two people - one bedroom, living space, kitchenette, bathroom, plus a lovely porch. We didn't need the sofa bed, but I think it would still be comfy if that was used. Very clean. Easy walks to New Belgium as well as some great West Asheville spots (Taco Billy, The Admiral, Cellarest). Hosts were great - responsive when we needed them but otherwise gave us our space.
The property was as advertised and in a great location.
Great location in West Asheville. Short drive to downtown Asheville. Nice neighborhood. Great patio to relax and chill and watch squirrels and birds between excursions to national forests, botanical gardens, arboretum and Biltmore. Close to many great restaurants and live music clubs. We Loved Asheville!
On street parking was a little tight, but not really a problem. It's quick to walk for breakfast or lunch and quick to get on the freeway to go hiking anywhere you wanted to go. 2 miles from downtown. Perfect place to stay for those who want to have a cup of coffee or tea in the morning and reheat their food in the microwave. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating
Communication with our host was amazing before our trip even started. We arrived and immediately loved the location. The accommodations were exactly as pictured and extremely inviting. Our host immediately responded to all of our questions. Our kids loved the games available in the cabinet. We highly recommend this place to stay for any small group wanting to visit Asheville!
What a wonderful place to stay for visiting Asheville! The location is great. The space is very well designed and has everything you need - including a cute creek with the occasional rabbit and woodchuck!
