Creek At Your Feet! Fishing Pole in your Hand!

We had the best time here, it was perfectly clean, and very thoughtfully designed. We had everything we needed, and the neighbors that we actually saw were very friendly. The creek in the back was amazing and we couldn't get the kids out of it! They both managed to catch and release trout. We will definitely be returning to this magical place. Thank you so much for sharing it! I don't have a single complaint!

The house is very attractive. The location is nice. The pictures in the listing are a bit older. I am a recliner type of person and enjoy unwinding in a comfortable chair while watching a little tv each night. The furniture in the downstairs den area is not setup well for this. I did not enjoy the gliders. A digital, guest adjustable thermostat downstairs is also suggested. The water level was low during our visit so no trout.

The property was perfect for our gathering. Very clean and organized. The owner was easy to communicate with. Beautiful creek and deep porch overlooking the view. So lovely.

Our home was beautifully decorated for Christmas and guests want for nothing. This was our second time staying and look forward to future visits.

The week prior to our visit I fell and hurt my back. I wasn’t able to make the trip but my family was still able to go. They raved about this house The house was absolutely beautiful and had any and everything you might need. Even had a Christmas tree already up. The kids sure enjoyed playing in the creek (even in the cold weather). Lucille was very easy to communicate with and always available if questions came up We will definitely keep this house as one of our favorites in the Hiawassee area. We have been staying in this area for the previous three years looking for the ideal vacation. This was by far our favorite stay with VRBO. Lucille was very gracious whenever we needed information with the various electronics and fireplace. The firepit outside was by far the best we have ever used. Sitting on the back deck was very soothing while listening to the creek and various birdlife. Restaurants and grocery store were conveniently located four miles away. We would definitely stay here again. The kitchen was fully stocked for with all of your needs to prepare and bake your meals. The laundry was excellent with front loading washers and dryers. Thank you Lucille for our best VRBO stay in four years.

Every aspect of our stay was TOP NOTCH!! All excellent.The property, location, cabin, exterior and interior wood work with exceptional attention to minute details, room layout and furnishings. Superb stone work, both interior and exterior stone paths, archways and numerous retaining walls. Cantilevered back porch over a beautiful mountain stream with native brook trout to test your fly fishing skills. This was an amazing experience that we have never experienced in cabins from Maine to Florida. The owner understands and appreciates the quality of the cabin and property and is willing to share this property with others. What a gracious host! Thank you!!

Peaceful, serene, beautiful, restorative, and rejuvenating! The house is beautifully built and furnished and was spotlessly clean. But the real star of the show is the back porch and creek. Words can’t express how spectacular it is. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and eastern chipmunks entertained while the sounds of the trickling creek and waterfall lulled you. A true slice of heaven.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Our fourth time staying and future plans to come back. Lucille is awesome!

We have stayed in a lot of VRBO and ABNB, by far this VRBO was the most romantic setting we have ever encountered. The host Ms. Lucille was very accommodating and thought of everything that you can imagine. It was so relaxing and a place we would come back too! Well appointed, private and clean as a whistle!

The best place I’ve ever stayed in the area. It was a great location with a nice neighborhood and the most beautiful setting with the creek. The beds are so comfortable and it was roomy throughout. I cannot wait to go back!

We loved this property! The cabin has three spacious bedrooms. Everybody has a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need- even Tupperware containers! There are plenty of towels- 2 sets of w/d for laundry- coolers for picnics, etc. The property is beautiful as is the cabin. It’s prettier than the pictures- so much gorgeous stonework! The sound of the creek was so awesome- it runs all the time. We were constantly outside. The firepit is huge! There is a BBQ grill too. The property is an easy drive into Town and the area is BEAUTIFUL. Close to Lake Chatuge. Grocery store is close enough and so is a dollar general for last minute groceries. We went hiking( nice trails within 15 minutes or so, tubing on Lake Chatuge-5 minutes away, horseback riding at Brasstown Valley Resort Stables -20 minutes, River rafting on ocoee -(1hr easy drive)/-in McCayesville. You’ll love it! We will book again in this area. We had as many as 6 in the house and everyone was super comfortable.

This place is a great place for family or a friends getaway. Plenty of space inside and out. So peaceful. Lucille is Amazing to work with!!

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting yet close to town. The location was great because we visited many towns within a half hour drive. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the grocery store was 10 minutes away. We enjoyed having coffee on the back porch that sits right on the creek. One of the cleanest vacation homes we’ve stayed in. Lucille was a great host! She gave us great directions and instructions before our stay and was always available if we needed anything.

This has been by far the best rental we have stayed at in Hiawassee. Upon arrival the cabin and grounds of the rental were in pristine condition and even prettier than the photos! Everything inside was well organized and kept as well. Our kids had the best time playing in the creek behind the cabin, they spent hours looking for critters in the rocks and playing in the water. We will definitely be returning! If you are looking for a vacation in Hiawassee this is the place to stay!

We fell in love with this property! Relaxing while sitting on the porch swing (or the outdoors furniture) in the cool air with the sound of the mountain stream was our taste of heaven! The house and grounds were outstanding. No complaints from this family.

This is an amazing property if you are looking for some peace and relaxation. The creek is amazing! Lucille was wonderful to work with before and during our stay. She went out of her way to make sure our vacation was perfect. We can’t wait to come back! This cabin was perfect for our family trip!

The home was just as described. Very clean and cozy accommodations. The porch was so peaceful being able to hear and see the creek and the beauty of the surroundings. Lucille was quick to answer any of our questions and just delightful. We enjoyed our stay very much and have already talked about going back some day.

The cabin was beautiful with the fall leaves. Loved being literally at the creek! Hearing the water flow over the rocks and watching it from the covered porch was so relaxing. The cabin is well furnished and has everything we needed for a fun family get together. We really enjoyed the fire pit one the evening and playing cards at the card table upstairs in the loft. The cabin is close to Hiawasee which makes it easy to pop into town for dinner or supplies but you also fell like you were in a retreat when you got back.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was exactly as described and Lucille was an amazing host. We enjoyed chilly nights and warm days sitting on the porch listening to the creek. I highly recommend this rental and we look forward to returning with our family next time.

This home is awesome. You can’t get any closer to the creek than here. The home is spacious and clean, with everything you need. Communication with the owner is great, she responds timely to any questions. We had 3 couples and had a great time here.

We had 4 guys getting away for spiritual discussion. Plenty of room to be alone, relax, hike and chill out. Very clean. Maybe have instructions in the kitchen. They were posted on the interior garage access. Very good instructions. I just didn’t see them right away. Owner was terrific! Very responsive.

It has been several years since all of our family could go on vacation together. We had an amazing time at the cabin. We went on several adventures, and the cabin was centrally located. It was nice to come back and enjoy the cabin together. We will definitely return.
