Stayed Feb 27, 2026The Crab Shack felt as comfy as home but with better taste. We loved the fun color scheme and each of the bedrooms felt like a serene retreat. The living room had plenty of space for watching a movie and our little karaoke dance party. Those recliners are absolute heaven! Great info provided for local spots to visit. We had a blast. Awesome hosts. Easy check in/out. 10/10

Stayed Jul 21, 2025House was great, had everything you needed. It was clean and bright. Just a short walk to the beach and dinning. Everything was within a 3 mile diamiater, grocery store , etc. Would definetly stay here again.

Stayed Jun 18, 2025This was our second time staying at the crab shack in Colonial Beach, and this is was the second time we have had a perfect stay. The house has such a family friendly layout and is super comfortable. It is close to the beach and main town area, a playground, the grocery store. The host Dan is responsive when needed (although we didn’t really need, because everything was great!). Highly recommend. We are already planning next year!

Stayed May 2, 2025Have stayed at numerous VRBO properties over the past several years. This has got to be one of our favorites. The house itself is amazing, and although we did not bring crabs back the house, the “crab shack” would be a great place to enjoy them. Close to everything, walking distance to food and entertainment. Just a great all around place.
