Beautiful historic home in Old Louisville built many years ago has been carefully and recently renovated to be a modern charmer. Our home was fully renovated and outfitted beautifully with historic local pieces as well as all new appliances and furniture. At over 2,000 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, our home is the perfect place for your group during your stay in Louisville!



It’s no fun visiting a city with friends and/or family only to find yourselves broken up between hotel rooms or smaller rental houses. Don’t be a tourist and spend more money than needed. Your group will feel like locals in this large home that is centrally located. Our home gives you and your group the opportunity to not only be together, but save money!

The Neighborhood:

The neighborhood has an urban feel and is diverse and growing. There are a lot of Historic buildings as most the neighborhood was built around the 1900's. While many buildings and houses have been renovated and look almost new, some need work or are in the process of a major renovation.



At the center of the neighborhood is a park named after Kentucky's first governor, Isaac Shelby. The park, Shelby Park, is directly behind the house. A cool cobblestone alley separates the park from the backyard of the house. The park has tennis courts, basketball, a playground, a splash park, and a half mile long running/walking track.



Other Things to Note:

Security camera/recording device — Front - Facing entrance; camera is turned on 24/7 (no audio) and records people coming in/out of the listing.



No smoking, parties

Check-in 4 PM, check-out 11 AM ($75/hr late fee)

$500 penalty for removing smoke detectors

To abide by all legal requirements and HOA rules, you WILL be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Failure to provide these documents will result in a cancellation and denied entry.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

- You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.

- You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.

- You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking.



Minimum age requirement of primary person booking should be 22 years old.



No weapons or drugs allowed; zero tolerance means police will be called for violating this rule.



Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 10pm-7am each day.



Long-term stays (30 days+): Long-term guests will be subject to a background search and credit check.



Note that all guests are required to submit a $150 security hold on a credit card in case of incidentals that is released 3-5 days post check out or may choose a $35.00 non-refundable damage waiver.

    Amenities were fine but no extras or frills. Kitchen could use some dishes and cooking appliances for the size group the house accommodates.

    At first blush it looks like the photos but that's the nicest thing I can say about our stay. There were dirty dishes & towels, bugs live & dead throughout, broken - blinds, chairs, couch. The 'master' bathroom was dripping constantly both into the tub and from the sound behind the wall. We had maybe a 1/2 roll of tp for both bathrooms. They were going to send someone with more but never came. The property wasn't stocked with almost anything except K-cups for a coffee machine that didn't take them. So we bought our own tp as the owner couldn't be bothered. The blinds in the rooms wouldn't fully close as they were broken. If the sun streaming in doesn't wake you not to worry the commerical garbage truck which comes down the alley next to the house will make sure to get you up by 6:55am. They are very prompt emptying 2 large trash bins which the driver ensures is empty (they shake it a few times) so the metal lids bang a few times. Even my teenagers who can sleep through just about anything literally jumped out of bed at the noise. We were not happy at the early wake up as we were kept up late by the noise from the businesses which are either literally next door or adjacent to the house - convenience store, fast food and a bar. They are all quite popular and as the weather was nice people gathered outside that we could hear late into the night. I reached out to the owner who promised to fix multiple items, none of which happened. Stay away!

    This property is a very old house with kitchen update, was relatively clean, and convenient to all of Louisville. The neighborhood is almost a bit rough, but we did not feel unsafe. The door code didn't initially work for us, but the Cozy Suites help number was very effective, and we soon gained access. The stairs to the 2 upstairs bedrooms are really steep and might be hazardous for old or those with limited mobility. There are 2 bathrooms, but one of them is a private bath to the bedroom, so everyone in the house does not have full access to this bathroom; a little inconvenient but didn't ruin our trip. We had 7 people here, 3 couples and one single. There was not enough (comfortable) seating in the little living room; the couch / futon could sure be replaced with something more comfortable. The HVAC made the upstairs very hot, while the ground level was cold, especially for feet and ankles. But if the ceiling fans are on to pull heat down, it helps a lot. (Small upstairs bedroom fan didn't have a pull chain to turn it on. Wall switch didn't work.) We needed more plates as we had to eat breakfast in shifts and wash the few plates for the next person to use. (ha) The property served our purposes and was very affordable! Owner / management was very nice and responsive. I recommend this property if you aren't looking for anything fancy or posh. Thank you Cozy Suites!

    We stayed for volleyball, location is close to convention center. The beds were squeaky, uncomfortable, and just needed some love. Not enough kitchen utensils or items to cook with. No pots or pans. Did leave coffee which was nice. It was freezing in the house and the HVAC couldn’t keep up, we set thermostat to 72 and it never got above 65.

    House was clean but neighborhood seemed risky ,when the temperature got colder the furnace struggled ,floors are extremely cold

    The property was very clean and as expected for the most part. Upon arrival we noticed a broken bed and toilet seat. Management was prompt in fixing the issues. However, I had expressed that I would prefer that no one enter the property while we were not there. We were surprised to find a handyman inside when we returned. He promptly corrected the issues to an extent. He replaced the king bed frame with a queen and the bed hung over the edges. The overall experience was positive though and we would likely rent here again. The location was very convenient to stores and venues.
