Tom Dooley’s Hideout is located at the Gateway to the hill country, just minutes west of Dripping Springs off of hwy 290. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. Stayed Dec 30, 2025It was a great get away close to hiking and even bouldering spots. I ate a Sandwhich outside with my spouse and besties. Private and comfy bed. I just wish that they had a stove top but you can always bring your own!!

Stayed Jun 11, 2024The small home had everything we needed. It was very clean, had a few snacks/candy, bottles of water for us and coffee/cream/sugar as well as hotel toiletries. We would definitely stay again.
