Stayed Feb 16, 2026We had a great stay here! Everything was exactly as advertised. Proximity to the slopes was perfect. We could make an easy 5min walk to the base of the slopes or drive over with just as much ease. We drove up to Brick Oven pizza two nights in a row - quick drive, great food and family atmosphere.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025Stayed here to attend a concert at beech mountain resort. It was very convenient location and cozy for my husband and I. We enjoyed our quiet stay as it was just what we needed for the weekend. Check in and check out were easy!

Stayed Jul 7, 2025The place was clean and very comfortable. Every morning, we were greeted by a mother deer and her two fawns. They would eat right out of our hands. The temperatures were amazing always in the 70's during the day. Great sleeping weather at night...even without an A/C. Lots of beautiful views and Fred's Mercantile is a must see if you visit.

Stayed Feb 16, 2025just a 4-minute drive away.The house was clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped.On the first night, due to heavy snow, the master bedroom was a bit cold. I emailed the owner, and they responded quickly, bringing us two extra heaters—I really appreciated it.We will definitely come back for skiing next year.I highly recommend this clean and enjoyable place!

Stayed Feb 13, 2025The location is great to the slopes. The listing is confusing when looking at bedroom's, it says two bedrooms however when looking at the bedroom information it shows beds in 4 bedrooms which makes you think there is a futon and another bed availably there. I have used VRBO since day one and have never seen bedrooms show beds if they are not available. The place is very small and the loft is really not usable very hard to access only a small child could use it and it’s very dangerous to climb up. The kitchen needs an updated microwave it very tiny and old, very limited eating utensils , no pots to cook in one large pot to boil water or cook in, one tiny old frying pan that is no good. The few plastic bowls they have are very old. If you plan to cook at all take your own cook ware. The kitchen needs a major update.For a few nights and a few people not planning to cook this is a perfect place close to the ski resort. The grandchildren had a great time that was the main reason for being there.
