Flagstaff, Arizona
Welcome to the Glad Kin Climbing Haus. A brand NEW home buildout designed, fully permitted, and constructed by property owner Mike Gladkin, for the Nature Enthusiast.
Located in Kachina Village across the street from National Forest Access. Walk out the door to your adventure! Then come home to air conditioning/heat, 50in tv, a hot shower, wifi, a full electric range, microwave, a kingsize bed, and DVDs.
There's a 7yo Golden Retriever Stetson in the main house who may sometimes be in the yard for the main home.
Suited 2 adults with 2 dogs well. Comfortable and private. The neighborhood peaceful and neighbors friendly.
Nice place, Comfy King Size bed. Cozy couches. Safe Fenced in Backyard for Doggos. Good spot to hold up for a few days and explore the area. Just south of Downtown Flagg by 5ish miles.
My husband and I and enjoyed our stay at this private, quiet location. It was clean and comfortable with a large fenced backyard. We enjoyed being able to pull up to the front door - it made unpacking and packing the car so much easier than a hotel stay!
We loved the location and price. So close to Flagstaff!
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
It was a perfect and clean location to stay while planning to go to national parks. I highly recommend staying here in the beautiful wooded area.
Great location, directly across national forest. Quaint house. When you enter the house it appears a bit dark. There are sufficient lights but not a lot daylight.
Was decorated so cute. Perfect amount of space for the two of us and our dogs. Loved that it has a backyard, only con is that it is like a shared backyard, we didn’t even see the other dog at all so no issues. Loved the neighborhood. Perfect space for our weekend in Flagstaff.
This was a nice little set up for the dogs and I. There were a few spiders that can easily be explained because of the location but I would get it sprayed a few more times. And the converted garage was a bit drafty, but you can tell it was at least cleaned. The yard space was perfect for the pups. It was a little far out from town, but we managed.
This home was stunning! It had the best backyard and I would come back to this place on a heart bear! Such an amazing location!!
The bed was not so comfortable but the location and quite environment were great!
great spot for a short get away. So close to trails to hike in the forest. We took a different route each day! Good central location for going to the Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon and the lakes (dry lake beds) area! Not that far to get into Flagstaff, if you are into city life. Quiet area...never saw Stetson, the Golden next door! Thank you for this spot.
Since this was our first experience renting a VRBO home, we had some things to learn. The only issue we had in the little house in Kachina Village was the television. Customer service was awesome and brought us over an antenna and offered to install it. I do believe having an antenna connection would be very helpful, as it takes a little while to put on your own profile and the apps that you use at home. The other thing that would be really nice is a closet.
It was all very nice and cozy. Would come back again and stay here.
This was a last minute booking for us to get away from the Scottsdale heat. It was fine for our family of three and two pups. It was 1/2 way between Munds Park and Flagstaff which was convenient for us since we hiked in Flagstaff and we were able to visit friends in Munds Park. The beds are comfortable, furniture nice and kitchen has almost everything you need to cook a light meal. It was nice being able to walk across the street to the National Forest and take a walk with the dogs. There were other homeowners with their dogs in the National Forest and they were all off lease which was nice. We like to be able to have our dogs run if it's safe and it doesn't bother other people. The only downside for us was the backyard. It was fenced in which was great but it was unfinished, mostly dirt and no outdoor patio furniture. It would have been nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the cooler weather.
Good location in the pine trees just outside of Flagstaff.
This little place was very nice and practical fir our needs. There was open communication with the management which made it easier. Our needs were met and I would definitely stay there again.
Our stay was better than expected! House was comfortable and just enough room for two people and a small dog. Fenced in backyard was a bonus. Weather was a little cool and could of used a couple of throws while watching TV…
