The A/C didn’t work. The bed was on the floor,. It was a hole in the wall. It looked nothing like the pictures on the app. It was a rat in there also.

Completely bamboozled upon arrival to this property. First off, we walked in. It was extremely hot. Every single room, including the living room had space fans. There was absolutely no air-conditioning as it was advertised on the listing. Absolutely no toiletries or complementary towels or washcloths. The few that were left were dirty. The bathroom and showers had not been cleaned. In fact the master bedroom where the bathroom is had a bowel movement stain as if someone had not scrubbed the toilet. I reached out multiple times through the app. And only got replied to twice, and that was to receive the Wi-Fi passcode, as well as to advise me that the air “should” be working. Totally misleading and an uncomfortable hot stay. It was Labor Day weekend so we didn’t have very many choices. We went to the grocery store to allow our food to practically spoil because the refrigerator did not work the bottom part of the refrigerator which is supposed to be the freezer is what was working however, it did not freeze. It barely kept things we needed cold. All around this day was a total disaster with no sense of accommodation. If I had my way, I would definitely ask for a refund or at least half of my money back because the cost it cost to stay there was not worth the amenities that were available. The host did not communicate anything at all. My family and I are going to see about going to the bank and reversing our charge for this stay.

While my communication with the host was well received and my concerns were addressed right away, our stay was in a word “disappointing”. The property is best described as “incomplete”, as there were multiple concerns, including but by no means limited to, only being 1/2 rolls of toilet tissue in each bathroom, a broom with no dustpan, as well as bedrooms with missing windows coverings. The host though, was responsive to our concerns and responded immediately and apologized. He provided alternate accommodations until our major concerns were addressed, however there remained “issues” with the property throughout the duration of our stay. I believe the property has potential but the aforementioned issues should be addressed before he hosts again. Dee
