Nice spacious townhome, with good location to trails, parks, lake and restaurants. We really enjoyed walking at the adjacent park with the dog!!

We had a great time staying on Castle Rock Lake. The townhome was great and clean. There was room for all 12 of us. The area that the townhome was located in was a little disappointing since the pool area was not allowed to be used by guests, the restaurant wasn’t open for the summer, and the beach area wasn’t great for swimming. We didn’t realize until we got there that there was a big drop off into the lake from the townhome as well. The drop off made it that we couldn’t fish right out the back like we had planned. While the townhome was nice, there are definitely some things that need fixing and improvements. A lot of the light bulbs were burnt out, including the one on the back of the house, so it was pretty dark back there at night for letting a dog out. There were also bulbs burnt out over the dining table. None of the clocks in the house worked. They all needed new batteries. The TVs were very limited to what could be watched on them. The ones in the bedroom really only had the availability to watch dvds. It would be a good improvement to upgrade the TVs. Alternatively supplying dvds, if that’s the only option, would be good as well.

Annie’s Townhome was just the right size for our family. It’s well stocked with everything you need for cooking your own meals. Lots of room in the great room/ kitchen/dining area. She was very responsive when I had a small issue. They were there in a few minutes to help fix the issue. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay near Castle Rock Lake.

Good layout, plenty of room, nice location near the lake, but 2 of the 3 bedrooms had dirty sheets, clearly were not cleaned. One of them had crumbs. That sort of ruined it for us. Showed a photo to management. Disappointed we did not get compensated in some way. They also did not have soap or shampoo. Good thing we brought our own. Happy that it was pet friendly, but garage smelled like dog food. Disappointed the bar/restaurant that is walking distance was closed for the season. And doesn’t seem fair that there is a community pool but renters cannot use it. It was super hot and would have been nice to cool off in the pool in the evening. Nice little patio but could not sit outside to drink our coffee in the morning, nor dinner at night. Too many mosquitos and flies.

Our family enjoyed a lovely stay on Castle Rock Lake. Annie was very accommodating to our needs. A large, clean space was perfect for our family of 9 to gather. The area is very quiet and praceful. We enjoyed renting a pontoon, the lovely beaches, nearby playground, state parks and the proximity to the dells. We enjoyed the boat tour to Witches gulch and the visit to the deer park. The local meat market had a wonderful selection! The only thing that was missing from the kitchen was a large casserole dish which would have been handy for a large group like ours.. We comfortably slept 8 people but did need an air mattress for the 9th as the advertised pull out couch is not sleepable at all. Other than that, it was perfect.

large townhome very comfortable for 8 of us, well-stocked kitchen, great communication with questions, check in process, etc., king bed is super comfy, cousins has fun sleeping in bunk bed room together, gas grill worked perfectly. and best of all, during the week the lake is dead which made our wake surfing and boarding, and anchoring with lily pad very enjoyable, we were also able to get a slip at the marina (but, beware they will not call you back if you try to reserve beforehand; we got it when we arrived, luckily they had a few open spots) Cons: TV in living room was small which made it tough to watch the olympics at night, no great view of the lake from the living room

We vacationed around the dells and found this to be a great location. It was about a 30 minute drive from the Dells. It’s a quiet and peaceful area right on the water (no beach access directly on property but a short walk to). There is some places near by to rent boats. The beach area has the softest sand we have ever felt. Overall, our stay was great. We did have some concerns that the sheets were not clean. There was some crusty yellow stuff on one set of sheets and the other was just in general dirty. We also were surprised that for a house that lists it could accommodate up to 12, it didn’t supply bigger dishes for large meals, seating in the living room only fits 4 and the kitchen table only seats 6 but others can sit at the island if need be. Closet in master room is locked so no where for hang up clothes unless borrowing a closet from other rooms. Property manager did not need to be contacted during our stay but we had great communication leading up to our stay. We did not have an issue with internet during our stay. It would be nice if there was some activities for the house (such as yard games, additional board games, lake floaters). Overall it was nice.
