Cozy Hornby Bungalow with Garage

Clean house in a good location. Well maintained.

House was great and perfect for our needs. The hosts were lovely and communicated well. Overall a great experience!

Nice house and yard.

The facilities were great, but the place could have done with a better clean. ie skuff marks on the walls, dust on the skirtings. The location not that great for Ubering in and out of town - made it expensive but the worst thing was being dropped at the demo yard on the other side of the fence from where the actual house was. Luckily the first night we had a decent Uber Driver who wouldn't leave us and stayed with us until we solved that the entrance to the property was off another street.

Kitchen was nice and beautiful-however it would be really good if there was a place or drawer for hand towel and dish cloth.I would recommend a quick check from your team before checking in.To check things such as rice cooker, TV remotes, glad wrap ,foil, one big sauce pan, rolling pin and a board, black rubbish bags, few basins for cooking.Rubbish bin-we could not use it as it was already full. I would recommend if we checked in with empty rubbish bins so we can use it .Cleaning stuff- I would recommend if there was a box of Janola, Jiff, scourers,Ajax spray .The reason is -we can clean up after mealOther than that-everything was amazing I love the house If I have to go back to Christchurch - I will go back to this place .Thanks

The house itself was a great layout and in a goodarea. Unfortunately from the start there was problems. They took a 150 bond from my credit card without this been stated or communicated anywhere. This is illegal. The rubbish bins were full, lawns not done, hair in the wardrobe, 1 bar stool was broken but disnt look it, almost fell off. The floors were dirty,our socks went black. And there was thick dust all over the oil heater in the master bedroom. There was also marks all over the walls and the leather on the couch was peeling away.

Very tidy, spacey and comfy place to stay for a big group or family. Close to hornby hub and wigram shopping area. And the double garage was great! Beds were more to a hard level. Not too comfy for those who love to sleep on a soft to medium bed. Luckily, all my 4 sisters love to sleep on a hard bed! Some kitchen items and furniture were quite worn out, and the breakfast chairs were also wobbly (need some fixing or replacements) as they can be dangerous to sit on. The only thing that might be good for an improvement (not sure if possible), is the location of the house is not accurate when using the gps. We arrived late around 11pm, so it was harder to find the house. During our stay there, i tried to update the google map for the house location twice, but nothing has changed. Google map still did not give me the right direction to the location. So, not sure if there's anything to do there. Maybe the property agent can provide a clear direction upon check in for future guest. Overall, we enjoyed our 7 days stay at the property. Comfortable, modern and spacious...this home had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay at this House with our family. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spacious enough for everyone, and the kids especially enjoyed the open area.The location was convenient and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience even better.Would definitely recommend this place for families looking for a home away from home.

Well appointed property that comfortably hosted our family. There is quite a bit of background noise from the neighbouing industry on week days which we werent used to coming from a rural area which was only negative factor. Very good price point heloed make up for this.

Spacious, beautifully presented, private and modern home. Great stay.
