Incredible house! We had such a great time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this house for our annual ski trip based on location, layout, and the hot tub. All of these factors delivered! We had 8 people with some couples and some singles, the bed situation was well fit for this and we even had extra sleeping options if we needed them. The kitchen was perfect for cooking big meals with the two ovens. The large windows provided a lovely view to wake up and come home to. The hot tub is easily accessible from the dining room and got lots of use from us. We ran into an issue with the fireplaces not starting but the management company sent out a repairman the same day to fix it! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, especially those looking for convenient access to multiple ski resorts.

Big comfortable home with an amazing view out the living room window. The hot tub was very nice to come home to after a day on the slopes. We had a couple of problems throughout our stay that made me rate this a 4 star and not a 5. The hot water heater stopped working for a 24-hour period and the gas fireplace worked intermittently (the directions did not match the controller), so that was frustrating. The rental company was responsive through text messages and did get everything corrected - though at the tail end of our stay. I did not ask for any kind of discount or compensation for our troubles, but I did ask for a discount if I booked again next year for the same time. All they offered was a 3% repeat renter discount...which amounts to a measly 108. That was disappointing to hear.

The house was beautiful, very spacious and the view was beautiful. It was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

The main level fridge was broken the first day we arrived and it took two days for them to send someone out to fix it. Two of the ceiling fans were broken. One in the upstairs room and one in a main level bedroom. The host sent two old terrible box fans to try to fix the situation instead of fixing the ceiling fans. The house was unbearably hot until 10pm each night and without the fans, the upstairs room was awful. They put the two smallest ceiling fans in the large living area and they are completely inadequate for the size of the space. They also advertise that they have cooking equipment and the pans might have been in the worst condition possible. Stay here if you want to be unbearably hot and never want to be in the house and if you want to bring your own pans to a vacation home. Their cooking utensils and equipment were terrible and ruined the first two meals we had. The host was deceiving in a lot of their ad. Stay here if you don’t want to be enjoying the house until 10pm and if you don’t want to cook at all. The couches were comfy and the area was nice. Everything else that the host has control of was subpar and showed a lack of care from their side. They went cheap with everything and expect a premium price from it, without taking care of the guests.

This location is ideal! Beautiful views of the mountains out of every window as well as Dillon Reservoir and hiking trails out the back door. We were two families—4 adults, 3 teens, & 2 little kids and had plenty of space for all of us without ever feeling crowded.

When getting to the property, we could not unlock the keylock hanging on the doorknob. Ended up calling the management and used the emergency key. You cannot enter through the garage, so some brave soul had to walk up the dangerous steps to the front door! (lots of ice and snow). The home was wonderful and clean. We encountered some hiccups during our stay. (the main fridge wasn't cooling, ice maker didn't work. The drain under the sink was leaking. The garbage disposal wouldn't turn off. The sliding glass door was **** to open and close.) As soon as something happened, I texted management and they always replied right away, which was great. We really enjoyed the place and had a wonderful family get together. I would stay here again, hopefully minus the hiccups!

There was ample room for all of us and we made plenty of use of the hot tub. The biggest issue was caused by the lack of parking. We were only allowed to park in the garage and the driveway. Getting that many people up to Silverthorne while still letting some be able to travel back on their own meant we had to leave a couple of cars in Silverthorne's overnight parking lots. Otherwise a great stay for several nights.

Place importance on having running water during your stay Yes, all of these things were a problem, and I am convinced management knew of them beforehand! We got to the home around 10:30pm. By 11:00 we realized there was NO RUNNING WATER! Luckily my husband was able to get into the utility room (laden with mouse traps and feces) to fix this issue. During this time, I made a call to the emergency number, left a message, and was never contacted by anyone regarding it...NEVER! The next morning I realized the refrigerator in the kitchen was running at 59 degrees and sent a text. Maintenance came out, gave a lame excuse, and said just to use the one in the garage. The bed in the master is so terrible that we took the mattress off of the sofa bed to get a little bit of comfort after feeling like sleeping on the floor would have been better the first night of our stay!And to top it all off, the hot tub was 1/3 full of cold water! I was informed that just the day before it had been serviced and there was a leak found but never reported. Highly unlikely...The home is very spacious although pretty dated, the kitchen is well stocked, and having three parking spots is a nice bonus, but for the issues that we incurred it’s not worth the amount of money we paid. Management did nothing but send texts asking how our stay was, but did nothing to fix the problems that we had. Please don’t disregard this review as just some angry renter in the same way I did before the purchase. All of these issues are more than valid and should be rectified before this house is rented out again. If you do rent, bring lots of sugar (and maybe some Tito’s) for the lemonade 🍋

The house was exactly what we needed, incredibly spacious and well-kept. The attentiveness of Summit County Mountain Retreats was awesome.
