Had a great stay. Grill looked very new. Ran out of hot water for showers at one point but it came back in a few minutes. The refrigerator door hinges need to be flipped… very annoying to squeeze into the corner every time you needed to open it. Beds were comfortable and big closet in the master was great for storage. Kitchen was stocked with everything we could think of.
Beautiful location! The house was cozy and conveniently located to Beech Mountain. We had a wonderful time walking the area and skiing at Beech Mountain. One issue - I have dust allergies and after a few days I developed a sinus infection; the home needs a thorough cleaning under beds, furniture and even the walls & lamps need to be wiped down. Other than the dust this is a great mountain getaway! We loved it.
Renting this property was easy I had no problems getting to my destination and everything was perfect the house was nice everything was nice my family and I really enjoyed our Thanksgiving there. I would definitely recommend this property.
Enjoyed this beautiful property it was a perfect fit for our needs, 2 couples and a 1 year old seeing snow for the first time. Unfortunately we were unable to leave due to safety concerns with snow/ icy conditions prior to our check out time. The property manager showed a lack of empathy for our situation and simply let us know that we needed to be out as soon as possible. Ideally we would have been on our way long before stated checkout time. I contacted the town of beech mountain asking them to plow the road that this property is on. Thankfully their quick response to the matter allowed us to safely get up the mountain and get to the main road safely! Again.. great property! Besides being the wrong tiger fans.. go Clemson.
Setup and location met all our expectations. Our family had a great time.
Perfect size for our family and close to the ski lifts. Would definitely recommend!
We loved staying at this cozy home! It was a very clean and updated cabin. When we checked in we had an issue connecting to the internet. The confirmation email had the incorrect information for username and email. We notified our reservation contact and she was extremely helpful and very nice. There was a welcome basket on the counter when we arrived. It was such a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again!
Hoped to salvage our trip after being cancelled from our previously booked/paid property. This property in no way was an adequate replacement for the property we booked. The house itself was clean but worn. We had hoped to set outside but the front deck faced a main road and the back deck looked over a yard full of trash and messes left by previous guests. We were not able to get the fireplace to work while we were there. Also on the back deck was a broken piece of furniture from the living room. The master bedroom mattress had a huge dip which was very difficult to sleep on. If Evolve is going to offer homes by owners there should be some checks and balances for the guests to make sure the homes are in good order prior to guests arriving.
We rented this small home for a few days away in the mountains. The furniture has a lot of wear on the sofa, part of the sofa furniture was on the deck. No propane left for use of patio heater and grill. Patio heater did not work after hooking up propane tank. Grill was in non working condition and filthy! We complained to rental agent and all she did was have her husband drop off propane on the deck, didn't hook it up for us. When hooking up gas it was spewing out of the hose, still didn't work, we know how to use a gas grill. Therefore we could not use the grill at all which we were looking forward to enjoying. No cell service for us at the home, unable to make any phones calls on cell or landline phone in home . You have to drive down the mountain to make a phone call. The master bedroom nightstands were covered in dust and water ring stains, had not been wiped down (they are glass). Silverware had crusted food on them. Lumpy mattress in master bedroom, uncomfortable mattress in twin bedroom. Bath towels provided looked like the ones I dry my dogs off with after a bath! Could have been a possibly decent stay but property managers don't seem to care much.
Cozy, cute and comfortable house in the mountains!!!
