Cozy Home secluded in the Wildlife Preserves

Great home - clean, plenty of room, and lovely backyard. Nice extras including coffee and towels for the pups.

This place met our needs on all levels. My mother had a bedroom on the main floor, as well as a bathroom, which was nice, since she can't do stairs very well. We enjoyed family time in the cozy living area, watching movies and talking. The views were beautiful, and it was so peaceful. I'd definitely recommend this home!

We enjoyed the property. We loved how cozy the house was and all the extra touches like the coffee bar were wonderful. We gave it 4 stars because there was a lot of dog waste in the backyard and we were bummed to find no shampoo in the showers but other than that it was wonderful!

The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the fenced backyard and fire pit. The BBQ grill was clean.

Great home and location! All beds and pillows were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with essentials for cooking, and coffee bar was a nice touch. You cannot tell from the listing photos but the split rail fence also has wire mesh preventing dogs from sneaking out. Laundry detergent was a blessing given we had two babies under 1yr old with us! The fact that paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, hand lotion, body wash, toilet paper, bath towels, fans, dog bowls, dog towels, and more were all supplied and available to us made this the best VRBO stay our family has experienced to date.

The location was great. The HUGE fenced in yard was paradise for our pupster and we couldn’t drag my son away from the fire pit. Easy access, fast communication and plenary of room inside and out makes this one a keeper for us. We will definitely be back.

The property was very clean and welcoming with a wonderful coffee bar, plenty of towels and other necessities. We enjoyed playing games at the large table and watching the hummingbirds and other birds in this beautiful location. I would highly recommend this property.

Our group of 3 couples enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It had everything we needed and was very conveniently located to all of the activities in the territories. We would stay again!

2 grandparents. 2 daughters. 1 son-in-law. 2 young grandchildren. Lots of spaces for all of us. Galena and Dubuque attractions. Shopping, trolley tour. Aquarium and parks. Great pool too!

Very nice, comfortable, clean home in wonderful area. We loved going into downtown Galena and coming back and playing ping pong & PacMan!The fenced in yard was fantastic for our dogs to run around and burn up some energy.Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at a beautiful home with an amazing backyard! We enjoyed our stay and we had the perfect place to relax and have a great time. Our host was fantastic and we had everything we needed to cook, grill relax and just have fun. I highly recommend Joseph’s home. I know we would love to stay here again someday.

We loved our clean and cozy VRBO house. The kids loved the ping-pong table and Connect 4. The fenced-in yard for our dog was amazing and we loved the fire pit as well! Highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed our stay . The home and property are lovely. All linens and bath towels were fresh.My only complaint is an extra kitchen towel or 2 would have been nice( the one there was actually a linen napkin) and the pots could stand to be replaced. The 2 big fry pans were worn and stained and a small fry pan for eggs and saucepans for boiling noodles would have been nice but we made do. Very minor inconvenience. We’d stay again though. This was such a nice quick getaway with the family! It was so nice to be able to bring our dogs with us!! We don’t travel much because it’s not always easy to find pet sitters but this was great and a big back yard for them to run in!

The house is a great location. Our group was 3 couples and there was enough room for each couple to have privacy but also great space to come together and enjoy each other’s company.

Everything about the place was perfect. There was a slight hiccup with getting in initially but the property handled everything very quickly. The place was very clean and decorated with cute winter decor. There was even a hot chocolate bar with cocoa and cookies provided. We had a great time playing games in the basement and there were also board games provided. The loft has a cute little reading area that I didn't get to take advantage of but they even provide books for you. We made all of our meals and there was plenty of cookware to accommodate our needs. I am looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The rooms were perfect for 5 adults. All of the Christmas decorations made it extra special for our family Christmas celebration. Some of the kitchen supplies could use updates but we had just about everything we needed. A large serving spoon would be nice but that's such a small thing. The coffee maker didn't work on the pot side but I didn't take time to contact the owner because the single cup side worked. All the extra coffee supplies was such a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again when int the area. Thank you

Wonderful place for of husband and I to meet with his 2 brothers and their wives. Explored Galena a bit, but spent most of our time visiting at the house.

Very nice house. Stocked wood for the fireplace. Fenced in yard if you would like to bring your doggy. And a gas stove!

We had a great time staying at this property with our kids and grandkids. It worked perfectly for every family to have their own floor with a bedroom & a bathroom. Loved the fenced backyard which was surrounded by trees. We made S’mores at the fire pit. Owner was quick to reply on any questions we had.

Enjoyed reuniting with college roommates and staying in the nice home.

My 2 sisters and my Mom stayed for the week. We visited antique shops in the area, shopped in Gelena. Enjoyed cooking and relaxing at this beautiful home. Beds were very comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and pans.

Offered many choices of things to do. Plenty of space for 6 of us.

The place was perfect for us. Each couple had their own floor/bedroom/bathroom. We cooked every night and the kitchen had what we needed. There was wood ready for the fire pit. The ping pong and Pac-man games were a bonus! Also the host was very responsive. We’ll return!

We really enjoyed he house and its quiet location. It was so dog friendly; this was very important to us. If we return to the Galena Territory, we would check on this house's availability before looking elsewhere.

This was a great property for our annual friends getaway! We enjoyed hiking, swimming, playing table tennis and exploring the outdoors. The house was awesome for what we were using it for! Would stay again!
