The owner never returned our numerous calls. There was an issue with mice and mice feces throughout the cabin. The barbecue grill didn't work and was not clean from previous renters. There was a note left by the owners that implied the oven didn't work but was unclear. We called the owner several times and never got a return call. Would never recommend this place. This was a womens trip and we all made the best of it and thankfully we brought food to snack on that didn't require cooking.
Beautiful views from the property. Quite a hike into town though as you have to go slow on mountain roads. Appreciated all the extra towels and bedding. Cleanliness of property was about a 5/10. Table and chairs were sticky. Visible dirt on the refrigerator handle. The grill was filthy and unusable bc it was covered in wire brush bristles. Used ant traps in the silverware drawer. Rips along the screen doors cause a moth problem in the house as well. Expected more especially during a pandemic. Ants were also a huge issue. Not only in the kitchen but I actually killed ten in the bed downstairs.
Cozy cabin on mountaintop with beautiful views from wrap around deck. We would definitely stay here again.
We drove all the way to the off the grid cabin only to find it had not been cleaned after the last tenant. With an immune compromised child, I was assured the location would be clean and sanitized to CDC standards for Covid-19. We were unable to stay due to the filthiness and the entire lower level smelled like pee. We got a hotel room that night and drove home the next day. We are still waiting to hear back from Evolve Property Management about our refund. This was my first experience with VRBO and I won't be using them again.
This rental did not disappoint my family of five plus our sweet dog. The location was off the beaten path with beautiful views of the mountains, sunrise, and ponderosa pines. The home was clean and comfortable. We were impressed how off the grid this cabin was and enjoyed teaching our daughters about conservation and solar energy.
This is a beautiful place to stay in the Prescott National Forest. The house is well designed to allow enjoyment of the surrounding nature (there are two levels of balconies and ample windows). The property is fairly secluded, so good for folks who want privacy. There are also great hiking options located within walking distance.
Love the location
Great Cabin ! Great views of the mountains around. The couch was very comfortable and cozy. The bedrooms were clean and neat with clean fresh sheets and plenty of towels for the bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The decks were great to sit out on and watch the birds and admire the wonderful views. Truly on top of the mountain. Hope tp return again.
My husband and I loved our stay at this cabin! It has amazing views and was equipped with everything we needed. Quiet, peaceful and cozy :)
Barbara was awesome and ensured we were taken care of. The views are amazing and the place definitely has the cabin on top of a mountain vibe.
