Stayed Jul 14, 2024Great main house with kitchen, dining room, living room, bed room and bath room. If you travel with kids, the best is the annex: two rooms and a bath room, just over the yard. Besides you also have a little garden and a car parking behind to house. Assens is a good starting point for trips e. g. to Odense, Faarborg, Middelfart, and Aarhus. as well as for bike tours. Assens has a harbour and a stony beach (you should use the pier to go for a swim), a shopping mile with restaurants and bars as well as many grocery-shopping facilities. Nevertheless it is evident that Assens has seen better days.
