The communication with the company, the owner has hired, was good. However once upon arriving I found this little home is situated between an abandoned home and the neighbors whose property value was significantly lower. The neighbors were outside on the trampoline and at picnic tables drinking, late into the evening. There were absolutely NO WINDOW COVERS, for any of the doors or windows...they could see straight into the house except for 1 room. I stayed only one evening in this place and felt so uncomfortable that I left the next day. I did notice, while leaving they had outside cameras all around the rental home, so apparently there are problems or have been. When I contacted the rental company, I was told that they would forward the information to the owners. I have stayed at homes by myself for the last 11 years and NEVER had one problem, at any of them. I am a backpacker and often stay in the mountains by myself for weeks. I have never felt this uncomfortable. They offered me nothing further, no apology or any type of compensation for the rest of my stay; that was not even utilized.
The house was well appointed and immaculate. Hendersonville is a charming town and Asheville has so much history. We truly enjoyed our stay in the house in the woods. A great bonus was having a garage. 5 star getaway.
Fantastic!
Its a very nice property but there were no screens on any windows or doors meaning we were in beautiful mountain evening air but had to sleep w all the windows closed and the AC running which really detracted from the stay
Your place is very spacious, fantastic for a large gathering, and plenty of parking. Everything was as clean as could be, I’m hoping I left it as clean.
The cottage was great. It was as described and appointed well. The approach to it was a bit odd but getting past that everything was lovely.
We had a wonderful week at this house in Laurel Park! It was conveniently located, tidy, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed eating out on the deck. My only warning is for the rare folks like us who prefer soft mattresses. The master bedroom bed was way too hard. We always travel with a memory foam topper, so we were fine.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is surrounded by amazing greenery and in a quiet spot. One of our family members uses a wheelchair and the house was big enough for him to wheel around. The patio was our favorite meal location!! Great place:))
Very quiet and private cottage with a lot of charm. I had a great stay and would definitely return and recommend.
Tucked away, this home was perfect for our stay in Hendersonville, NC. Everything was as we expected. Aside from a few things I'd recommend (full length mirror, room for shampoos, etc., in main bath), our family fully enjoyed the accommodations. Would recommend or stay here again.
