Cozy Haven- Cape Cod style cottage- close to beach

Cozy Haven was ideal for our needs - close enough to walk to the beach and Phoenix Street. The backyard provided ample space and a nice grill for making dinners, etc. If kids are coming along, there were plenty of games available.From the outside it doesn't look very big, but access to 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provided plenty of space. Minor quibbles: no full-length mirror, one upstairs room has a personal A/C unit which would be nice except it keeps beeping when it hits its target temp (couldn't find a way to disable that) so it's not realistic to keep it on while sleeping (when it's really needed), and the bath mats were well past their useful life.The cleaning service clearly just did a quick once over and didn't clean under or around furniture, etc. We found items directly under a bed and a couch without trying to look - I didn't bother exploring further. I know the cleaning crew has limited time, but if you charge for a cleaning service, you expect a clean house.Bottom line: would we stay here again or recommend it for someone looking for a beach vacation? Yes, especially for a family with younger kids. The cleaning issue isn't related to the home but to the service received. I assume that will be remedied in the future.

We had a great time. It fit all of us perfectly. The location was close to everything. We could have used a full-link mirror. The upstairs was hard to get cooled off although, would rent it again.

Cozy Haven is an accurate description of this house. It is great for families with toys, games, and books available. Our 4year old loved the Bob the Builder Memory game. The back yard is so fun with the fire pit and outdoor games. Overall it was very clean and well stocked. One of our boys rolled a car under a sofa and we found out that the floor had not been cleaned under the furniture. It was pretty bad. That was the reason for 4stars rather than 5 for cleanliness. We did not have great communication with the rental agent. We asked twice if there was a pack-n-play on site and never got a response. For others with small children renting this house, there IS a pack-n-play under the bed on the main level. Overall, we had a great time and would rent this home again!

Close to beach, downtown, bike path. Well furnished. Nice fire pit.
