Clean, comfortable, 1 block away from the beach, close to town. We had a great time! Highly recommend!

Second time we’ve stayed at this particular house. We really enjoyed the fireplace the 1st time so we brought chestnuts to roast. But alas the fireplace was inoperable. We also liked having a garage to load/unload when rainy. But alas, the garage door was locked. The listing still promoted the garage and fireplace Communication from Vacasa was sparse and useless

Nice grocery store, 1 block. Great coffee, 1 block the other direction. Beach access and playground for kids, 1 block straight out the front door. Pub for dinner and drinks, right next door. Location is great for us not wanting to be in the busier, more touristy section of Cannon Beach to the north. Not a brand new house by any means but everything worked and there were two full bathrooms, washer and dryer, and a kitchen with all the things you’d need. The door code could be a little shorter and easier to remember but I’m splitting hairs now. For 3 days to a week it was perfect.

200ft from the beach. Next to a nice pub, convenient store and Mo's seafood restaurant.

We loved being close to the beach. This is our second stay. It was as good as the first. Being close to markets, Mo's and other places was a plus.

This was a great location to access the beach and yet be shielded from the noise of traffic and holiday people.

Plenty of space and right across the road from the beach! Tons of games and sand toys for kids and the stroller was a nice bonus to have. This was our second time at this location, we love it!

Great location. Could use some upgrades. A gas barbeque would have been nice to have. This property did not have it; however, there was a charcoal grill in the garage. Bring your own charcoal briquettes. The door lock takes 10 digits to open, a shorter combo would be better.

I stayed at this home in August of 2022 and wanted to give a review to help others considering this home. The location was great - very close to the beach. Pros: Close to the beach Cons: There was the very strong smell of mold/mildew throughout the home. I spent the first night googling the health risks of exposure to mold/mildew spores. We kept the windows fully open to help air out the spores and keep the smell minimized. Sad that every night I counted down how many nights we had left to sleep there. The house slopes toward the center both front to back and side to side. It's very noticeable and a bit unnerving. Also, this meant that any water that escaped the shower ran toward the door and into the carpet (which probably worsened the mildew situation). The house itself and most of the furniture are very dated and not well cared for. In the living room the handle has broken off of one of the recliners. None of the furniture was comfortable to sit on. In the bedrooms the comforters were so old (probably 40+ years) and at least one had holes in it. The fan in one of the bathrooms didn't work and judging from the dust probably hasn't worked for 30+ years. Outside on the deck were only 4 plastic chairs. We did find some old, rusted loungers in the garage so that increased the seating some, but not enough for our group. The carpet also appears to be original to the house and maybe it contributes to the mildew smell. In one bathroom the pipe above the shower leaked and dripped down through the particle board ceiling and down into the shower. The shower head had a lot of hard water buildup so it didn't work very well. We had to turn the temperature of the freezer down to keep ice cream frozen, but this meant that our produce in the fridge also froze. Honestly there was enough wrong with the house that we were pleasantly surprised when anything worked. We paid a lot of money to stay here for a week and I cannot recommend it. There's no reason to charge so much and not provide the basics: a clean, mildew-free home, adequate outdoor seating, comfortable furniture, decent bedding, and working fans/fridge, etc. I hope the owner makes some changes so that this can be a nice rental in the future.
