Cozy Cottage in beautiful wine country La Casa Resort

Overall really great experience, the house was clean had everything you needed to cook meals and be comfortable during your stay. Candace was easy to communicate with and understand. The hot tub was down when we stayed there, if it was up and running it would have been an awesome bonus with the views and coziness of the deck!Shared Pool and Hot tub was only a 2 min walk from the house.Would love to stay here again in the future.

We just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay at Candace’s home in La Casa. We loved it! The highlight for us was the covered outdoor deck with a TV - such a great feature. It was a real treat to curl up outside while enjoying a show and to have that incredible view in the background. Candace was a fantastic host, quick to answer any questions and kind enough to allow us an early check-in. She truly went out of her way to accommodate us whenever possible. We loved the lay-out of the home. It was nice to have a large dining table overlooking the spectacular view but also have that same view from the living room AND both bedrooms. And the view... absolutely breathtaking! Thank you, Candace, for sharing your lovely home with us. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this property to others.

Awesome resort. Friendly people all around. Water sports. Gated community. 2 adults and 4 children stayed. Loft and den had a a bed and a bed-couch. Two queen beds in other 2 bedrooms. Livingroom couch flipped into a bed as well. Hot tub was private. Road there was a bit narrow and twisty so drive with caution. Candace was attentive to inquiries. Enjoy

During my recent stay at this property, I encountered several significant issues. The most misleading aspect of the listing was the bedroom count. The property is advertised as having four bedrooms, but this is not accurate. There are two proper bedrooms, and a third room contains a futon which, when unfolded, blocks the door, preventing it from closing. The fourth 'bedroom' is actually a small loft space above the futon room. This space, which is more akin to an entryway leading to the hot tub, is barely accessible and lacks basic amenities like lighting or a proper bed, containing only a thin, unclean mattress. The cleanliness of the property was also a major concern. The sofas and carpets were stained and smelled of animal urine, which was quite off-putting. Interactions with the property owners further detracted from our experience. When I reached out for WiFi information, which was not provided initially, the owners responded with continuous yelling. Their aggressive behavior escalated to the point where they told us to leave the property late at night after I raised concerns about the listing inaccuracies. Post-complaint, the owners amended the listing to show fewer beds, acknowledging the misleading information but not compensating for the initial misrepresentation or their inappropriate conduct. Future renters should be aware of these issues. The property does not live up to its advertised description, and the host's behavior was highly unprofessional.

Candace and Carl have an awesome oasis at their place. Loved the location which has all the amenities right in the resort. The house has everything you need to relax and enjoy everything the Okanagan has to offer. Thanks guys, we'll see you soon.
