COZY, CHIC BEACH HOME 3BEDS/3 BATH, STEPS TO THE BEACH & ALL THE ACTION

We had a great Thanksgiving week at this cute beach house less than a block from the beautiful white sands beach! Our host sent us a list of good places to eat and things to do, Her recommendations were great!The house was very clean and in excellent order with a great stocked kitchen. Even though I ordered a precooked meal from Publix for Thanksgiving day, we never lacked for the correct pot, pan, utensil, plate or grill!The beach chairs, towels and other beach equipment were conveniently placed in one of the first floor closets. The beach access directly across from the house is great. it looks brand new-an elevated Trex wood walkway past the beachfront homes so just a short walk through the soft, shifting sands (which was nice for us older beach bums!) to a wide, clean beach. I was surprised that there were not many people there, but it was great for those of us there. What a nice, calm and relaxing beach! A welcome change from the over crowed areas just west of where we were. A couple of suggestions besides the ones we received. We had a blast making our own blown glass Christmas ornaments at Panama City Hot Glass Studio, loved Parlor Doughnuts and Bayou on the Beach, especially music bingo night to go along with the cajun and seafood dishes. Don't miss visiting Old Town Panama City to watch the sun set by Uncle Ernies and enjoy one of the restaurants such as Alices on Bayview.. There were cute shops there also!

Great place for a large family, only thing the beach you have to walk across busy highway to get to beach access. Owner was great to communicate with answered all questions quickly. Would highly recommended

Rented this house to be close to other family staying there as well. We really enjoyed how close it was to the beach. The home was exactly like the pictures. Would absolutely book again.

It was a great location. The house was very nice. Bathrooms were clean. Beds were comfy.The balcony was nice. I think a table would do some good out there. The pool was nice also. The living room furniture was a little worn out. But all in all it was great and I would definitely recommend and rent again.

We have stayed here several times and love it. It’s close to the beach and everything we love to do. Close to our some of our favorite restaurants.

We are not complainers, we go with the flow so when we arrived it was dirty, there was old coffee in the pot, the dishwasher didn’t run right and the vacuum didn’t work. There were no cleaning supplies of any kind and while making the place livable we found a container with marijuana under the bed! The walls by the entry door were all dirty. We had driven 12 hours and were tired when we arrived and it wasn’t worth complaining, it was too late to find somewhere else to stay and we didn’t want to spend our vacation arguing. Next we got a complaint we had a dog and we definitely did NOT! Later the host produced a photo and it was the next door neighbor who stopped by to say thank you as we had helped her the day before. The dog was on the lady’s leash and it did not enter the house. In the end the host charged our credit card an extra $300 for leaving it dirty! This was outrageous and a total rip off. We have rented VRBO around America and never had an issue or complaint. I wish VRBO would get in the middle of this to mediate and protect our rights. Oh and the pool was dirty and dingy looking, and our kids are used to swimming in the river on our property so it takes a lot for them to complain. We were extremely unhappy with this entire experience and will be interested to see if VRBO get involved to protect our interests.

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable house. Check-in was a breeze and it was just a short walk to the beach!

We needed a lot more towels, vacuum did not work. It is a very nice property ! Walk to beach isnt bad at all. Enjoyed our visit !!

This property is away from the busy part of Thomas Drive. Good for families. Although it is sufficiently close to allow for quick trips to relevant attractions. Check-in is easy and instructions were very clear. Also included extras such as beach items. Gulf is a short 2 minute walk. Would stay here again.

The house was perfect for my family of 8. One short block walk to the sand. Bars restaurant and attractions are within two blocks.Ice machine next door. 9out of 10 stars just because the pool is a little small but overall a great place to stay.

Lovely home! Family of 9 and plenty of room. Very close to the beach and all kinds of shops, dining, and fun things for the kiddos!

We have been to this beach many times and this time did not disappoint. The rental was cute and cozy and close to beach access 20. You do have to cross Thomas Dr. which can get busy but I’d say overall the drivers are considerate and watch out for pedestrians. Beach access 20 is great because it’s in front of homes and never felt to crowded. Like I mentioned this home is on Thomas drive and it can get a little noisy at night but nothing unbearable. It’s close enough to walk to food and a few little stores for things you might need. We ended up picking up beach towels, a beach umbrella and a few floats for the ocean. The rental does state they don’t provide beach towels so we did end up donating ours after we left. The shade canopy was rusted, broken and torn when we tried setting it up and we let the owner know right away. We understand, with rentals stuff gets broken and at the ocean air is super hard on stuff. But I’d say a new canopy and wagon are probably due. We made the beach wagon work but it was rusty and one of the poles underneath was barely hanging on. The beds were really comfortable as well as all of the living room furniture. Super cozy and a fun place to hang out in the evenings. I got up each day and enjoyed working on the upstairs deck. We had a 16 month old with us and the owners were nice enough to provide a child gate so we could actually relax upstairs while making dinner. Lovely little home in a great location with amazing owners ❤️
