Wonderful house. Only down side was lack of parking and not EV-friendly.

Was what we needed for our stay

Lovely home exactly as described. We had great communication with our hosts right from the beginning. We came to Brandon to celebrate a very belated Christmas with our family from Moose Jaw, we live in North Dakota. What a wonderful surprise to see a Christmas tree in the living room making it cozy and festive. Our gifts looked perfect under there. The house included everything we could have needed and we felt right at home. My husband said the bed was incredibly comfortable and I agree. Thanks to John and Marcela for being such great hosts.

Very old house with original wood flooring, with squeaks & all. House tastefully & modernly decorated. Had all amenities you could need in the kitchen & bathrooms. They had even left a welcome basket on the island in the kitchen. Only drawback: had nice stoneware dishes & cups but these had gold trimming so they could not go in the microwave if you want to heat up your food or beverage. Enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this beautiful heritage home in Brandon in less than a year. We were grateful for the air conditioning during the extremely hot weather. The four bedrooms were perfect for our group. Comfortable beds, nice linens, large dining room and living room.

Highly recommend this place for a family getaway in Brandon. Great location, close to BU Athletic Living Center.

Watched our son playing volleyball and stayed with another couple. Easy walking to groceries and restaurants. Perfect house to sit and relax. Charming

The only issue we had was no main floor bed. As my husband uses a cane using stairs was a struggle. But he managed.

Beautiful historic home with four bedrooms. Comfortable beds, great linens, fully equipped kitchen, large dining room table with lots of seating, nice deck with a barbecue. We would definitely be interested in staying here again.

Thank you for renting your house to us. It met our 3 day travel stay in Brandon. The house was ready for us when we arrived. It was clean and welcoming. The dining room table was great, as there were 6 of us and then we had 2 more people in, for a couple days and it seated us very well. The disappointments were the descriptions were miss leading As it is not does not have 2 bathrooms but one full bathroom downstairs and a small half bathroom upstairs. Also a description of the size of beds would be nice. The lock on front door was hard to see and very slow in opening. All the white steps can be very dangerous as are the steps outside in the dark. A mirror in each bedroom would make sharing the bathrooms better. Some hand towels would be a great asset. We packed fairly light and were almost there from the states when we received the notice that no street shoes were allowed in the house. Also we did not receive the leaving instructions until after we left, cause we left early that morning. We were blessed with some fantastic weather so we enjoyed the outside patio and chairs. The house is a historical home nicely fixed up ,kitchen is nice and the dining area can comfortably sit 8 people ,the living room very comfortable the bedrooms are small but very comfortable beds half bath up stairs is nice ,full bathroom down stairs is nicely finished and shower is good , there is a nice deck at rear of house with a bbq, I would recommend house too others
