Stayed Jun 20, 2025We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was a hot weekend and I was very happy that the house stayed cool. There were plenty of towels. The home was clean and as described. Check in and out was very simple. We had a great time and hope to stay there again.

Stayed Apr 25, 2025We had heard Galena was good for golf, so we decided to take a trip. This house was in a great location and was perfect for hanging out when we weren’t golfing. It was very clean and the check in and check out processed went very smoothly. We decided a hot tub will always be needed on our future golf trips!

Stayed Nov 14, 2024Rustic space with bears, evergreens & Americana. Living room offers plenty of comfortable, cozy seating, just right for catching up with friends around the fireplace. Large screened in porch and open deck overlooking lovely wooded ravine. Spacious, well-appointed kitchen, (tho we would prefer a Keurig + coffee pot.) Would be helpful to have the decorative grass cut back some for safe backup to the road and seeing the reflective house number. The hot tub was inviting, but we didn't take time to use it. Bedrooms had plenty of drawer & closet space.Thanks for hosting us!

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Myself and two of my friends spent the weekend here to celebrate my 60th birthday! We had a great time and really enjoyed the house. It was easy to find and wasn’t too far from town. We spent our days in Galena and Dubuque and spent our evenings sitting in the screened in porch talking and laughing and having a good time without having to worry about the bugs. It was nice having each bedroom on a separate floor too. With a bathroom on each floor as well. Lots of room to spread out. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked amazing! All three of us agreed that we would definitely stay here again!

The comfy seating in the living room that accommodated 6 people very comfortably was a highlight! The house is tucked back in a nice part of the Galena territory and the deck as well as screen in porch were excellent for outdoor meals. The hot tub and whirlpool tub were some stand out features for us. TLDR; no complaints, would stay again
