Cozy 1870s Farmhouse Cottage next to the Smoky Mountains NP, Bryson City, NC.

The house was comfortable. We, three couples stayed there for 2025 Thanksgiving. Three bedrooms with three baths was convenient. Very convenient to visit places, waterfalls, and hiking trial ways. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Good amenities and close to town. Very clean.

The stay was great and the hosts went above and beyond for (a special circumstance, but the point stands)

Owners were very good to work with. Home is well situated with a short drive to either Bryson City or Cherokee. Location is private and on a nice property. Home was well stocked with the necessities. We would choose this property again.

Authentic mountain setting with all the luxuries! The Little Gem sits way up the mountain on several acres of beautifully tended land and is a few backroads away from Deep Creek National Park. An original cottage that has been renovated with all the best in air conditioning, heating, kitchen appliances, AND mattresses; yet they retained the gorgeous plank-board flooring and walls. All bathrooms recently updated - hot water comes on immediately! The owner has intricately decorated in antique mountain chic with lovingly placed articles all over the walls and dark wood furniture. And yet you can still sit on the front porch, drink coffee, and enjoy the silence! Perfect for a long stay if you have business in Cherokee or Bryson City!! Highly recommend to people with disabilities as well — only a few long steps and you are in the first floor with kitchen, main and secondary bathrooms, and master king bedroom. (Wheelchair does not fit through shower door, but there is a built in shower bench). Also, love the small enclosed yard-space for young kids! Lovely owners!! Easy to reach and down to earth! Highly recommend!!!

This property was perfect for myself, my brothers and all of our kids that range from 3-11 years old. There were 9 of us total, 5 kids 4 adults. Beautiful property and house with plenty of wildlife roaming the yard at various times of the day. Quiet, private and comfortable

We loved this house for our family’s Thanksgiving! It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We hiked in the park behind the house, which was great. Our family members stayed at the owners other listing, which was perfect. We were together but had our own space. Lovely home and lovely owners!

Comfortable and uniquely traditional farm house. We felt we were welcome to this family home. Very quiet and picturesque location. .

Great farm house and close to downtown, great communication with the owners. Looking forward returning back next year. Me and my wife have stayed in other areas around Bryson but we fell in love with this little house

Bubba and Alina have a wonderful place right next to the national park. Their home is unique, great for families, and close to Bryson City. My family especially enjoyed easy access to Deep Creek and the great hiking and fishing opportunities. They are very thoughtful and have done a great job with the property. Don't think twice about staying at the Little Gen if you're planning to stay in the area!
