This is a great place to stay. We used it for a family gathering and everyone enjoyed everything about it. This is a top choice for location, space and accommodations for a peaceful getaway. We loved it and 100% will stay here again!

This house and property are indeed a country mansion in all respects. Beautiful and functional at the same time. The pool was very enjoyable, and Kate is a wonderful host.

We recently stayed here for our small wedding ceremony and wedding night, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The grounds were gorgeous, the location was peaceful, and we got stunning photos on the balcony and out on the lawn — it really is a special setting with a lot of charm and potential.That said, we did run into several maintenance and readiness issues that impacted our experience. A few amenities were not as expected or in working order, and the house didn’t feel fully prepared for guests upon arrival. The host was VERY kind and responsive throughout our stay and followed up afterward to make things right, which we deeply appreciated.To be fair, many of the other reviews speak highly of the cleanliness and upkeep of the property, so it’s possible our experience was an unfortunate one-off during a tight turnover window. The host was truly gracious, communicative, and clearly cared about making things right, which we genuinely appreciated.With a bit more attention to detail in the cleaning and preparation process, this home could offer a truly exceptional experience. It’s a spacious, welcoming property, and we hope future guests enjoy it to its fullest.

This rental is a dream. From the winding staircase at the front entrance, to the exposed beam office and lounge, to the enormous master bedroom, the mansion is pure delight.

Wow! What a beautiful weekend and a great place to stay. Make sure you accept the directions from Kate as your navigation system will not get you there ?. When we arrived we were greeted by Kate, the owner of the home and were provided a great tour of the house. She gave us history of the home and showed us where everything was located. She was charming, kind, very helpful, and attentive to all of our needs and requests. When we found out the hot water was not working, she immediately got a plumber out to fix the issue. (We had arrived after a large storm). The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for our family of four, plus my in laws to spread out and enjoy. This would be ideal for a large group to use for TCU sporting events or other events. We will be back!
