Can't say enough good things! The home is comfortable and surrounded by trees; the kitchen is very well provisioned; the beds are super-comfy. The hosts are kind and respond quickly to messages. My friends and I felt very welcome and had a fantastic stay!

Marla the host was so nice and so helpful. You couldn’t ask for better amenities in a cottage home with beautiful surroundings. Everything was so clean and organized and whatever you might need it was there. We all agreed we wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it after being out and about during Winterfest. I would highly recommend this cottage home to anyone looking for comfort and a wonderful setting. I hope it’s available next year!!

Great location near Fish Creek. Super spacious home. Well stocked kitchen. Hosts did great job of communicating and make check in easy. Great value for the location.

We had a nice and relaxing time with our dog. Mostly hung out and watched moves and went out to eat once or twice a day.

There were numerous cleanliness issues inside and outside. The issues were brought to the attention of the owners immediately and were not handled to any satisfaction.

Great home for a family stay.

Easy check-in through garage using last 4 digits of phone number on file. Kitchen seemed to have most things needed alas no muffin pan. First floor bathroom had plenty of shampoo not bath soap.

This is our favorite place to stay in Door County.

This was our first time in Door County and we were unsure of where to stay. Just outside of Fish Creek was perfect. It is central to everything and exactly what we wanted. The house was clean and very well stocked. We appreciated things that most places don't have which prevented mutilple store trips.We definitely would stay here again in the future.

House tucked away in a great location in Door County. Great yard, saw turkey and deer. Clean. Had all basic amenities. King bed is located in a room up several stairs. Nice to have a King bed!! We enjoyed our stay.

This property was in a beautiful area. Lots of trees and forest animals could be seen!

We have been going to DC for with our dog for years, this is our new favorite spot.

Great location in a woodsy setting. We saw deer in the yard the first morning All needed essentials are there and available for use. A good variety of TV stations available

We enjoyed the quiet wooded house , great location and yard for dogs to play as we enjoyed a campfire! Kitchen had most everything except a sheet pan. Good setup for a family of 6.Grilling options were nice. Reasonably priced, we would definitely hear again!again!

The house and property were lovely. We toured Door County by day and sat around the firepit at night, laughing and catching up with one another. We had our coffee on the deck each morning watching the wildlife, especially 3 deer who came to visit. It was great. Unfortunately, as the last two of us left the house on Sunday, we discovered the stationary tub had overflowed. We had not used it, or even noticed it, but someone (cleaning staff?) had apparently left the stopper in the drain, and the water softener drained into it for some 60 hours before overflowing. I notified Marla who asked us to drape the runner rug over the stair railing in the garage. We did that and mopped up the area as best we could before leaving. Except for that, our visit was wonderful, and I'd stay there again. I'd check the stationary tub, though...

Everything was as advertised. There were a couple of minor issues, however. When we arrived the garage door code I was given didn’t work. A call to the property owner fixed that. Also, one of the queen beds on the first floor didn’t have any sheets on it. We found a set in the hall closet and put them on. The other queen bed on the first floor had king size sheets on it. A little uncomfortable but not bad. Overall we liked the space and enjoy our stay.

The Chalet was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in our many visits to Door County. We loved the decor. The Mary Kay products were a nice touch. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and s’mores at the fire pit. The deer and wildlife surround you in this private quiet wooded area. The master bedroom en-suite bathroom and loft area was great. The hosts were quick to respond to all of our questions. We hope to come back again!

We loved the property. It was great having the quiet of the woods behind us but also being close to the amenities of Fish Creek. This was the best stocked property I have been to - plenty of things like oils, spices, coffee filters, sugar etc. for cooking. Well done!

No negatives. The home was fully stocked with everything as listed. Some of my favorite things about this property- water softener (so nice), Mary Kay products for your use, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent provided for. Coffee provided including pods. Paper and writing utensils. Plenty of toilet paper. Plastic wrap. I could go on. Love that it has a garage for your car and bicycles. Very welcoming home. And I loved the decor.

The property was exactly as expected and communication with the owners was great. The home was very well stocked (one of the best we have come across) which makes the stay much more enjoyable. The location is great being just minutes outside Fish Creek but nice and private on a large wooded lot. We appreciate having a garage to keep our bikes in and for easy loading/unloading. Overall a great value for a rental and we would stay here again.

Nice house, lots of room!! Unloading dishwasher before leaving is a lot!!
