Stayed Mar 24, 2023We loved our vacation from the moment we walked in. We have been choosing Pirate’s Cove since 2003. This home is our favorite by far! We loved all the little touches that made it feel like home but also had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy. The dock and views were amazing! We were able to set the crab trap, kayak on the sound, soak up some sun on the dock and decks, and loved the hot tub multiple times a day! This community is so awesome. Everyone is friendly and we feel so safe there. The workout facility has everything I needed and more! We will be back!

Stayed May 4, 2022House is beautiful and clean. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Lots of room for all 7 of us. We really enjoyed fishing off the pier. Neighborhood is quiet, safe and conveniently located. Lots to do near by!! Hope to return soon!

Stayed Aug 8, 2021This house is located right on the sound with a dock. Has many things at the house including kayaks, boogie boards, ping pong, hot tub, games and plenty of kitchen items. We had a great stay. The only thing I would suggest that could be better was a little more cleaner. The bathrooms had lots of hair left in them. The outside decks and chairs were very dirty. The outside areas could use a good washing. The two tubs were clogged and barely draining when we got there but after a phone call this got taken care of very quickly. We would recommend!

Stayed Oct 4, 2018Beyond the community of Pirates Cove having many amenities from the pool, tennis courts, restaurant, playground, etc this home was a well appointed vacation house. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, using the bikes to get around the neighborhood, and using the kayaks to explore the sound. While we have some favorite restaurants in the Outer Banks we wound up never stopping at any because the fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook our own fresh seafood meals! The kids had plenty of space to play, the adults enjoyed sunrise on the dock & sunsets in the hot tub! We even had a kids vs adults ping pong tournament!!! The only downside to our stay was that we couldn’t stay the entire week. You won’t be disappointed in the Cottage By The Sea!!
