Cottage 2 to 4 people near beach spa. private courtyard and parking.

While this property had many good points there was one bad point which is a big problem. Veronique and her husband were very good hosts. They let us check in early. The hot tub was great. The beds were comfortable. Great location for the beach. Bikes to use to cycle to town just 5-10 minutes. Small but well equipped kitchen/dining/lounge. The outside space would benefit from decking over the whole area as the grass was sparse and not nice to walk on...but not a major issue. If you are allergic to cats...there are 5. Not a problem for us but others might need to know this. You can’t put paper down the toilet. Could be a problem for younger children. MAJOR PROBLEM When we booked there was a review that said the accommodation was damp and mouldy. The owner assured us this was not the case so we booked in good faith. When we checked in there was a faint damp smell but nothing too bad. As the week went on the smell did increase. One night towards the end of our holiday my son got up in the night and the floor had many slugs on it. ( photo and video evidence) They had got in through a gap in the corner of the wall. On inspection the wall/ floor in that corner was rotten and damp. We cut our holiday short and checked out next day. Unfortunately the owners were not in when we left. I emailed them but they have not replied. This is a shame because the rest of the place was lovely. A sad end to our holiday. I would not recommend sleeping in the second bedroom for health reasons.

Veronique and Fabrice welcomed us as one of their own in their charming property. It was quiet and arranged with a lot of taste, the yard and his jacuzzi were very appreciated after long adventurous days in the area. They also guidéd us towards good local activities.
