COSY & INVITING BEACH COTTAGE SITUATED IN PRIME BEACHSIDE LOCATION

Lovely place to stay, very pleasant. It’s in a great location- really close to town and the beach.

There were unfortunately a number of negatives for us with this stay. The beds were uncomfortable with mostly old, soft mattresses, the 2 singles stained. There was no air con which is mind blowing considering this is Western Australia by the beach - temperatures reach mid 30s consistently. The property needs a good clean and there should be a decent vacuum with all working parts for guests to use. The washing machine is very noisey, perhaps on its way out and needs replacing to a modern unit. The stay was very overpriced for the standard of the house.

Neat abd Clean

We had a lovely stay. The location was great, close to town centre and beach. All within short walking distance. Stayed as a family or 4 with teen kids and the dog. House was as advertised, nice, clean property, would definitely stay again and recommend. All positives.

Reviewer Comments: Faultless location, very close to beach and town (walking distance). However, the property smelt heavily of cigarettes immediately as we checked in. Considering this property is marketed as a ‘Luxury Escape’, there were simple things that required attention, the master bed was exceptionally uncomfortable, the ironing board was broken with the cover so thin that your clothes were left with a checkered mark as you ironed. And also broken and brittle washing pegs. Most of these are a cheap and quick fix. Additionally, we were charged $50 cleaning fee for the BBQ, which was dirty and required us to clean it before we used it.

We loved having a drink on the front deck in the afternoon whilst the kids played cricket on the lawn. Highly recommend and we will be coming back

Reviewer Comments: Located so close to the centre of Dunsborough yet only one street across from the beach, this home is a perfect get away for a family weekend. Sitting on the front verandah, we enjoyed breakfast in the morning sunshine. We loved our stay in this modern, well appointed home. We will be back again, thank you so much.
