This was a wonderfully restored townhouse in a very centrally located to downtown Sydney. Easy walking to Circular Quay, Opera House, Botanical Gardens, Hyde Park, The Rocks etc! The host Matt, was super responsive to any questions or concerns we had - excellent host! There were 7 of us using all 4 bedrooms, so could have used another 1/2 or full bath for convenience. We k ew it was a townhouse, but there are a lot of stairs to access the lower and two upper floors where 3 bedrooms are. As it is a townhouse, there is not an abundance of natural light so the kitchen and dining room at the lower level can feel a little dark. But overall a wonderful stay

Matt was very responsive and helpful and the property is fabulous. Great attention has been paid to detail and design throughout the house and it's in a wonderful location for exploring Sydney. There are many excellent choices nearby for great coffee and food. I would recommend Copper Cottage enthusiastically.

Great host, very clean and well appointed in such a great location. We were 4 adults and 2 kids so perhaps for 8 people could have done with one more bathroom and more lounge type outdoor seating but overall an excellent spot.

Three generations together and this was perfect for us. The beautifully renovated town home had the right touches of well chosen art work, very comfortable beds, upscale linens and was extremely well provisioned with both kitchen equipment and basic supplies - soap, shampoo, conditioner, to, paper towels dishwasher and laundry soap…and more. The private outdoor spaces are a welcome oasis. And the cherry on top is the unbeatable location. We used the close by Museum station for so much including the airport. Matt was very responsive making it all very easy. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Great central location to experience downtown Sydney within walking distance. Great place, was big enough for family of 7. Nicely decorated. Home away from home.

Very charming, unique space. Great location for exploring the Surry Hills, Darlinghurst neighborhoods. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of space. The host has obviously taken a lot of care in restoring a historic space in an authentic way with modern upgrades. The bathrooms are a little quirky but not unusual for a historic space spread over 4 floors. One is on the floor with 2 queen beds. The other is on the lower level with the kitchen. But the top level bedroom has a sink which is nice.

Our group of travelers - celebrating two 60th birthday celebrations had an amazing time in Sydney utilizing the VERY central Cooper Cottage as our home base. Matt made our check-in and check-out process super easy. The accommodation was clean and artfully curated. Loved using the downstairs exterior breakfast area to gather and refuel. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy this property and there is a utility room downstairs to wash laundry.Worked perfect for our group of 5 people - would recommend if you are a group looking to experience the cultural aspects of Sydney and also get in some rest and downtime. The area is very central and near train, metro and bus and walking pathways - the museums and botanical garden are all in easy walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet.

The house is in a great neighborhood and location and had everything our group of friends needed for a long weekend. There are many restaurants and stores steps from the house and public transport is only a few minutes walk away.
