Beaufort, South Carolina
This house provides the best of both worlds, it is located conveniently within walking distance of downtown Beaufort, while also being located in a quiet neighborhood on a waterfront lot.
The house overlooks the water with spectacular views from the master suite, Carolina room, and the deck.
The house is furnished comfortably, and is freshly painted throughout with refinished hardwood floors. The kitchen has brand new countertops, and there is new tile throughout the bathrooms, Carolina room, and kitchen.
The master suite has a queen bed, and there are two guest bedrooms with two twin beds each.
There are 2 bicycles in the shed that can be used to explore Beaufort and local bike trails.
Kemp communicated with us from the time of booking to the day we left. He answered our questions and provided us with brochures or suggestions. The property is nested on a quiet street with a beautiful view of the tidal marsh. It is only 5 mins from downtown Beaufort where you can shop and eat and enjoy the beauty.
Great house in town over the marsh from Boundary .street. The house and neighborhood are well kept very clean just makes you proud to be here. Good to us, you can hear air base jets taking off.
Spent a wonderful week in Beaufort with all the comforts of home. Especially enjoyed the deck for our morning coffee. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds very comfortable. The location is very convenient as well. The Spanish moss trail is a must do when visiting.
The house on the marsh was perfect for us. Kemp was a terrific host - responsive and helpful but not intrusive. He gave great recommendations for what to see and do in the area. We were able to ride our bikes from the house into downtown Beaufort and along the Spanish Moss trail. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable.
We're from up North and needed a break from a health challenge +COVID, and boy did we get it here! The house was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. You can tell the owner is meticulous! There was a fully outfitted Kitchen so we could cook for ourselves and bikes that we rode all over town and along a Spanish Moss trail that can be accessed at the end of the block. Beautiful sunset view from along the trail which was almost certainly an old RR bed. The back yard of the house faces the marsh and we watched the tide come in and go out each day-mesmerizing! I even saw a PELICAN out there one night, and I just LOVE them for their awkwardness and eccentricity! Charles was most attentive and helpful-right there whenever we had questions. All in all it was a stellar experience and we would come back and stay any day! Best Wishes ALL!
Our family visited the area during the long 4th of July Weekend. The home was perfect and the owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was stress free and enjoyable. Would definately recommend!!
Great communication with the owner and easy to deal with. We loved the cottage, clean, great neighborhood and great location.
When we first booked this house, the owner contacted us immediately providing helpful information about the area. We were happy to have chosen this particular house in a very friendly neighborhood. The Spanish Moss biking trail was amazing located in a walking distance from the house - with two small bridges to fish from. Just over a mile from different stores and downtown Beaufort - which is a great area to walk and go for ice cream. The layout of the house was wonderful for my two little children and we all agreed that we want to come back. PS. Did I mention that my seven years old learned how to bike without the training wheels?...
We rented this adorable house for four nights this May. It was perfect. It was conveniently located to downtown and great restaurants. The house itself has plenty of room and a reading chair in the Carolina room that I consider “mine” but I will loan it to you if you want to visit. Every night, after dinner, I went down by the dock with my book and read and watched the beautiful sunset. It was so peaceful. We never heard or saw the other neighbors. It was our own, private getaway for four days. We were lucky to have it. Easy to rent through VRBO and the owner is funny and pleasant to deal with. You’ll wish he was onsite. You can’t go wrong with this house! Sleeps 6, living room, dining room, Carolina room, kitchen, two baths, master bed with bath and gorgeous view. Porch furniture. We were told there were bikes in the shed, but it was 100 degrees so we didn’t ride anywhere. Happy travels! Robin and Ray
Great communication from the owner, very responsive and the home was lovely. Beautiful views in the back....Loved sitting out on the deck and watching the fish jump and Egrets hanging out to eat. Thank you!
