Convenient to Downtown And Parris Island

Very close to USMC Marine Corps base for early rises! Quaint and picturesque environment of era gone by with beautiful surroundings, antiques and decor. Kitchen nicely furnished. Moderate but easy walk to downtown restaurants. Extra parking at graveyard if needed.

We just stayed a few days for 4th of July. We enjoyed the convenience of it being so close to Bay Street. We walked there daily. The house is old of course but well decorated and well kept. Plenty of room and we enjoyed the upstairs porch.

Being in the historic district was a real bonus. There was an issue with the Roku and AC but Tom took care of right away.

Great. AC upstairs did not work. Able to fix it by changing the filter. All good

It was our first trip to Beaufort and wanted to stay where it was convenient, couldn’t have asked for a better place. We had all that we needed in the house and loved the fact we could just park the car and walk to shops, dinner, the park, and many trips to kilwins.

House is great. Centrally located to everything. Communication was outstanding.

A couple days before check in, we received the standard email from VRBO with address and details of property. In that email, it stated that we should call the property manager, Tom, at the number provided for access instructions. We arrived at the property at 5:00pm (one hour after check in time) and called the number. It went to voicemail. We also sent a text per the message. We waited and waited. No call back. We ended up sitting in the driveway of the property for 1.5 hours. We called VRPO customer service and they too tried to reach Tom. Finally, the gave us a full refund. Got a text the next day from Tom saying he was very sorry, offered us to stay free in the home but by this time we had already drive back to hour home 3 hours away and unpacked. He offered us a weekend stay at a later date. We will see if that pans out. In the meantime, this was to be my b'day present from my husband. Certainly not a great outcome.

As stated above, everything about this listing was spot on. Perfect walking distance to Bay Street and the beautiful waterfront. The house...charming, delightful, comfortable and Thomas is very welcoming. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

This was a delightful place that was comfortable to be in. Lots of natural light with interesting artwork on the walls and very well appointed. it is close to downtown, so walkable to shops and restaurants. This is one of the best rentals I have been in!

Loved this house. Old classy and amazing. Perfect location it was such a great long weekend. Would rent again in a second. Owner is amazing and communicative!

Very convenient and short walk to historic downtown. Off-street parking and fenced backyard were a bonus. Home was charming, clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Very close to St Helena’s church. Enjoyed hearing the church bells and visiting the site.

If anyone knows anything about Beaufort the waterfront park is definitely one of the more iconic spots. My family and I had the pleasure to stay within walking distance of the beautifully historic district for my younger sister’s wedding. Tom was a phenomenal host as he was very attentive to any need that our family faced to include the password to the WiFi. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful--easy walking distance to downtown. The house was fun and quirky and very cozy and clean, with plenty of space for a group. The property manger was easy to get in touch with and very nice. Would recommend!
