    This location is everything the other reviews noted. It is near the beach, you can hear noise from the freeway, but it's not too bad. It has a cute beachy decor. The kitchen could use some more cutlery, but it was enough to get us by. My biggest concern was the property management company called Vacasa. When you try to speak with them I'm pretty sure they're overseas, sometimes difficult to understand. I could never get proper information out of them. An owner knows their property, Vacasa always gave me bad information.The listing says there is no air conditioner. There is one there now although it's portable. The listing says that the laundry is coin operated, it is not. It says there is a barbecue, shared ping pong table and a picnic bench as photographed. There is none of these. That area is now for animals to urinate and defecate in, along with beachgoers to shower.When I arrived I could not find any towels, when I called Vacasa they could not tell me where the towels were. I got a text the next day saying that they got an image showing that the proper amount of towels was there, however they still didn't tell me where they were. I did find them eventually. The front door lock seems faulty. Halfway through my stay the back gate latch fell off,

    Very clean and as pictured. The combination for unlocking the door did not work. I had to call customer service who was still not able to make it work but was able to access inside with a key (in a lock box). Because the deadbolt combo didn't work we could not lock the place when leaving... Not a big deal for me but for other it could have been very worrisome. .5 to 1 mile walk to most places - San Clemente is a great little beach town!

    My family and I stayed for three nights in early October and had a great time. The apartment was clean, check-in was easy. The only downsides were that the apartment is right next to the busy, and noisy, Highway 5. This is out of the control of the owners, and you know this if you're renting it. The thing that is in their control is that the kitchen and fridge were pretty bare. It would have been nice to find some milk in the fridge or a little welcome basket of snacks on the island when we arrived. We've gotten this at other VRBOs and it leaves a nice feeling.

    First of all, this is my first-ever, one-star review for a rental place. This was the worst place and worst customer service I've ever received. I was mildly concerned about the pet friendly bullet point as my daughter and I are both mildly allergic, so I messaged the homeowner asking about it. We've stayed in dozens of rental places, several of which are pet friendly. We received an answer that We assure you that our housekeeping team maintains cleanliness. This place is disgusting 1. It smells like an out house and like several cats and wet dogs are present. 2. There's no AC. There's a thermostat on the wall, but it doesn't do anything. 3. There's a loud fan in one of the rooms that attempts to mask the smell/heat, but it doesn't help with either issue. 4. The parking is bad. The address takes you to the wrong place. You have to park on the next block behind the house. There was a white windowless van and a blue pickup parked in the space dedicated to us. 5. It's a scary neighborhood. It's an old, beaten down, sketchy area. Guys smoking weed were standing and watching us walk past on the path to go up the stairs to the entrance. We ended up staying in a hotel up the road that was similar in price and way cleaner and safer. Please don't stay here. You will regret it.

    We needed a quick getaway during spring break and this place was available and affordable. It was just a 6 minute drive to T Street where we played all day. There is a market (Primo Foods) on the corner we walked to that did 69 cents street tacos for Taco Tuesday and they were delicious! It’s a super cute place and I’d definitely book it again.
