Contemporary Family Home with Private Pool, Hot Tub, Free WiFi, and Fireplace

We've had a good time as always with Vacasa, and they have some nice and friendly staff to deal with. Even though we found quite a few non-functional items like half-working stoves, broken sliding door, fire pit; they didn't ruined our stay. I'm taking two stars off for something else, and it isn't Vacasa's fault. There's this older lady to who lives nextdoor to the house right behind the rental property. Thru out the stay, she mean-mugged us whenever we're in her sight, and as we departed on our last stay, she was taking pictures of us from her phone. To avoid confrontation, we chose to just walk away but Karen Alert is in effect if you stay here.

We had a good vacation in this Manson rental. The house is spacious, works well for multi generational family group. Kitchen is very well stocked, but bring your paper towels and TP you will need it. The pool bath is a wonderful convenience to have right outside the pool. The pool is fantastic, fully fenced and safe for little children. Checking in and out was a breeze. Ample parking in driveway. If you don’t do stairs this would be a draw back for some. Washer and dryer work well, detergent provide. Loved the deck area and nicely shaded, flowers on the deck were a nice touch also. Big yard for kids to run and play and a safe place to ride bikes. There is also a small basket ball court. Things to be aware of: The cooktop has elements that don’t work or don’t work properly. That was noted from another review a year ago. The management said it would be fixed then but is still not fixed. The fridge door is broken so you need to take care closing the door, the inside crisper drawers have been repaired in a incomplete manner. One drawer is difficult to use the other we didn’t use. The dishwasher works good, but be very careful when opening the door, the spring for the door is broken so the door falls to the floor. It is not safe when you are not aware of it but if a child opened it they would be hurt. So please be careful! The mattress downstairs are not comfortable and some pillows are stained, you might want to take your own pillows. When we arrived the freezer in the frigid downstairs was so full of frost the door would not close. We took it outside to defrost, wiped it out reinstalled and it worked fine the rest of our stay. Take care when you walk around the deck, and ground floor patio one of our group stepped on a rusty tack. We found multiple nails and screws, so be careful with your children walking around the property. Bring your own pool umbrellas there are none. The pool has no shade. The temperature control on the hot tub would not work so the hot tub was 105, very hot. The gas fire pit is inoperable so don’t count that as one of the amenities. In the rental agreement Vacasa states you are renting the property as is. For me it would have been nice to know these issues upfront, but that’s what reviews are for, right. I hope this helps the next guests prepared to rent this Chelan home in the future.

Wow! This place was absolutely incredible! Big pool, great views, affordable price (probably because we were there during what is technically the off season. But, we had 85 degree weather and not a trace of smoke the entire time!) and a huge house with tons of space for multiple families. We felt like royalty! ? No issues checking in or out. We can’t wait to go back next year!

We had a nice trip overall. It’s in a nice location, view is decent, well stocked kitchen, pool and hot tub were fun. It’s a completely different pool from the photos here. That was a little annoying because we picked the house due to the pool. I’m sure the new pool is in better shape, but it’s a rectangle, no diving board and no attached hot tub. I’m not one to be picky, but there were many things I’d fix around the house. There were many unsafe features for our group with young kids and grandparents . The outside stairs were awkward and difficult for hauling in luggage etc, but we did find that we could use the inside stairs fine to get in and out of the house. We constantly tripped over the driveway and back porch as there was uneven concrete. The deck needs repair as well. I’m also not sure the pool is heated. We found it to be very cold, but eventually got used to it. It is also very sunny by the pool and no shade, so we purchased our own umbrella. For the price of the house I would expect nicer furniture/cleaner etc, but we still enjoyed our time.

We had so much fun staying here! The pool was clean and the kitchen well stocked. I wouldn’t agree that there is a master set up downstairs rather a shared bathroom but overall I would stay here again.

The Bay View house had lots of space for our group. The pool was a hit with the kids, and the large outdoor areas have lots of tables and seating options. There are four different refrigerators in the house, so lots of space for our food and beverages. It's a short drive to downtown Manson from the house. Walking wasn't an option as it was 95 and up for our stay. Parking is plentiful. The stovetop was partially working (with a note that it's being fixed) and we never could find the switch to turn on the outdoor lights by the deck, but overall this was a great place for our family vacation.

A lot of space for 10 to spread out...and the pool was a definite hit. Some things weren't working (stovetop/sink downstairs/hot tub) and during our stay were fixed. Maintenance was SUPER responsive (thank you), but it was inconvenient at times. WELL stocked kitchen and lots of seating outside!

This home is clean and well furnished. Great for a large group and lots of space for relaxing. The kitchen has every tool and gadget that you will ever need, but I would have loved a larger trash can. My one other area of feedback would be to have the code to the pool cover. We had ducks in the pool several times and day and they use it as a restroom, which is kind of gross. I have rented a lot from VRBO and this rental, even though it was made on VRBO website, was done through Vacasa. Not impressed at all with this Company. Poor communication throughout the entire process. Will NOT rent with them again.
