The property was as listed and the pictures understate the size. Power was out on our arrival (neighbors were out too) but came back on about an hour after we arrived. My friends and I noticed a good amount of pre-existing minor damage to the property so we took pictures on arrival to make sure it was documented. Plenty of room for my friends and I to enjoy a long weekend of board games and each other's company. Plenty of nearby hiking and on-site amenities to keep us busy between games. Full-time residential neighbors are nearby but didn't bother us. Didn't have any issues getting to the property but can see it potentially being an issue in the winter. Had a lovely time. Thank you!
Lots of hiking. This chalet was a great home base for our various hikes, as this area is beautiful, and has many marked trails. And we could sleep so many people in this chalet. Next time I will be sure to invite more, as there is so much space, and great accommodations!
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this spacious house. The kitchen is well stocked for meals, plenty of linens and towels are provided. It’s in a great area, we were able to walk right out the door and onto the Laurel Highlands hiking trail. Several state parks are within a fifteen minute drive. Ron was great with communicating some small issues back and forth. I would definitely not mind coming back here if we ever find ourselves on a family trip in the area again.
I loved how much space there was in the common area. It made meal time with a large group easier. The only drawback was the sliding glass doors leading out to the patio and hot tub are needing to be repaired. One was broken and the other was very hard to open.
Had a wonderful stay. Clean and quiet environment. Need some plumbing updates.
This property was below our standard for cleanliness.and was in need of repairs. We were especially disturbed by the presence of bait traps for insects and rodents.
We were a large group attending a graduation @ Carnegie Mellon. The home had enough beds and baths to accommodate everyone, about an hour from downtown Pittsburgh, quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Overall a good experience.
We stayed here with two other families and had a very nice time. The hot tub was great and the house had many beds to accommodate our group. We had some technical issues, but the property manager was very responsive. Great location for access to seven springs and hidden valley and also pet friendly!
We are three growing families who have been coming to the area for many years. This spot accommodated 15 of us very well. We enjoyed skiing, hiking, and hanging out in this spacious home. The hot tub, air hockey, and games were a plus. This home also had basics available such as hand soap and toilet paper which was really nice as some of us were flying in. The owner also supplied firewood! Thank you for offering all as advertised. We had a great time.
We had a wonderful time. The kitchen had way more accessories and supplies than listed. (The only thing we couldn't find was an ice cream scoop. And the Narcan in with the spices was a bit concerning.) The hot tub was a hit. The fireplace was cozy and we had plenty of wood. The kids loved the foosball and air hockey. Our only complaint was the dead mouse found in the basement, shortly after we arrived. We disposed of it, but we suspect there were more, because of the smell.
Good place to stay in the mountains, minutes away from Hidden Valley. Would stay here again.
The house had plenty of room, beautiful decor, hot water tanks need adjustment. We ran out after two showers. WiFi is horrible. Overall great place to have fun and relax. Would definitely recommend
My friends and I had a great fall weekend here! The place was so cozy and there was plenty of space for our group. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Would definitely come back!
Perfect size for our group of 20. Great place . Plenty of room and cooking utensils. Very nice place.
House was just as described. Plenty of room. Linens included was a biiig plus. Hot tub was great. We enjoyed all the state parks and the beautiful leaves.
Was surprised at actually how big the house was, everything lived up to its billing. Had a lot of fun and it was a great atmosphere, would rent this property again.
We 5 families ( 10 adults and 11 children) traveled from difference locations in USA. It was an awesome experience for us as we all met after 8 years and had a great time. This property was spacious to accommodate 21 of us. Kids - Boys and girls got their own bunk beds and play area. Small but nice kitchen. Beautiful location with nice parks and ponds near by. Nice fire pit and good hot tub for kids. Overall it was a great experience personally for us. Few observations to improve it 1) Need to be bit more cleaner - many places within the house we saw spider net. 2) Need to improve the quality of furniture, blankets and also the TV was an old plasma. Was unable to cast from our mobile 3) The living area is not that spacious for large gathering but the deck was good, since it is summer
The bridal party and friends stayed here for a wedding a few miles away. Great gathering place. Large fire pit and lots of outdoor space. We had a great time reconnecting after being apart far too long.
There were 15 of us, children and adults, as well as one cute basset hound that all were overjoyed with our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for our group meals and the hot tub was the perfect spot for the end of the night. Plenty of beds/bathrooms for our group! At short stroll to the end of the street gave us access to hiking trails in Forbes State Forest that several of us enjoyed. Close proximity to everything Laurel Highlands, I recommend checking out all of the Frank Lloyd Wright homes (Polymath Park (and the Treetops restaurant), Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob), riding the Alpine Slide at Seven Springs, and taking a scenic drive to grab a bite at the Bittersweet Cafe between Ohiopyle and Farmington.
The property was nice. We really enjoyed our stay. There were a couple small disrepair issues, but overall fine.
My family and I really enjoyed our time there, wish we could have stayed longer.
Great place for large gatherings. Four of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Great table to gather around for dining and game playing
Property was perfect for our group.
