Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by a bag of dog feces on the welcome mat. Im sure that wasnt from the property owner. There was construction debris all over the side and rear yard. Lots of nail filled lumber and chunks of wall substrate and drywall board. Took it upon ourselves to gather it up. Upon entering the home we found the furniture was falling apart. We also found that there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in 2 bathrooms and a half roll in the 3rd. Nothing to replace it with. There was only 6 towels in the linen for showers for the 10 people we booked for. We also found the home only sleeps 8 and when we reached out the the property owner, they stated they were sorry and said the chair in the gaming room is a bed. We asked about linens and blankets but got no repsonse. We had to do laundry for showers, purchase toiletries and also purchase linen sets for the 2 guests with nowhere to sleep. We have tried to reach out the the property owner with these concerns but they just ignore our messages. Reached out to Expedia and Vrbo with no real solution other than they are reaching out to the property owner. Found 7 bags of garbage in the garage and garbage in the recycling bins. Made sure we took pics as their paperwork left in the kitchen counter says anymore than 2 bags of garbage and we are charged 10.00 per bag. Wouldnt reommend staying in this home. Sad really as it has so much potential if it was cared for and they actually gave a care for the patrons using it.

The Good: It was easy to stay in touch with the owner and his representative, Tony. When we expressed a problem, they tried diligently to fix the situation. Furthermore, they were willing to host us with our 2 small 20lb non-shedding service dogs and 1 small 20lb non-shedding emotional support dog. We were able to use the garage for one of the cars; this was particularly helpful because my 86 year-old mother didn’t have to worry about slippery steps with the winter weather. Also, plenty of parking on the street. Finally, the location was incredibly convenient to shopping centers—groceries, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. Room for Improvement: At first we didn’t have access to the breaker switches as the basement was locked; a switch was tripped before we had even arrived, so one whole side of electrical outlets were dead. Had to wait for Tony to return, but he left the keys so we could access if anything occurred again (which it did not). The fireplace wasn’t hooked up when we arrived; part of the appeal in the posting was said fireplace. In fact, the fireplace still isn’t hooked up to the light switch and can only manually turned on and off (luckily my brother-in-law had all the knowledge necessary to get it running). The walls are in desperate need of a good paint job; would recommend a softer off-white to create a more homey-feeling.The house really needs lamps; the overhead lighting makes it feel like a hospital. Lamps would have helped with the ambiance.

The house was clean, easy to access, had all the things you would need in the kitchen, and the host was responsive. Would stay again.

Overall a great VRBO stay. House was very clean and true to its pictures online. There were beds for 8 but couches in Ping pong room and in living room. No face cloths but towels and hand towels were sufficient. Lawn was maintained while we were there. If we could make a recommendation to build a deck off the patio doors and supply a bar-b-que - that would have been a great addition to our stay. But overall a great experience.

We came to London to see our daughter who is attending western university. The property needs new couches in the main room. The grass needs to be cut, a deck needs to be built and your windows need cleaning. The best thing about the property were the mattresses. They were brand new and comfortable. The neighborhood is new but not nice.
