Stayed Jul 27, 2025This location is absolutely perfect steps from Lake Michigan next to a wine bar with live music that we enjoyed all sitting on the patio behind our unit. Steps from other restaurants, shopping and grocery store. This is the perfect location for hiking sleeping Bear Dunes. Biking the area and visiting other Harbor towns. This is truly a fabulous property.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025The location is perfect, walking the all the shops and restaurants, as well as the beach. Loved space and the large yard with grill and fire pit. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We love that the location is walking distance to everything in Glen Arbor, especially the lake. The cottage has everything you may need for your stay and is updated. It is very cute and cozy with the fireplace. But, there truly needs to be blinds or shades put up on the front door and the window above the kitchen sink. There is absolutely no privacy at night when it's dark out and the lights are on inside. There are neighbors on both sides. We actually taped up newspaper on both so we had privacy. And, the living room sofa really needs to be cleaned or replaced. There was hair and sand all over it. I actually pulled out the large vacuum to clean it. And a safety issue would be to have a rubber mat in shower because it's very slippery when wet and soapy. And, possibly another lamp in small bedroom. Very dark in there. But that was my only issues. I would definitely stay there again, even if I had to tape up newspapers on windows.

Stayed Sep 11, 2023Good: 1. The location is outstanding. Close to the lake, close to restaurants, close to shops, close the the park. 2. The property is very nicely renovated. Well outfitted, plenty of seating, comfortable beds, nice dining area. Well stocked kitchen. Bad: 1. The property is not particularly welcoming to guests. It lacks hospitality. This is the first rental property we have ever stayed at that did not have a welcome package, information about the surroundings and amenities, proximate restaurants and shops, etc. There wasn't even help to find the closest public beach. We didn't even know there was a working fireplace until the last day and we were flipping switches to turn out lights and the fireplace came on. 2. Paper products were very cheap and minimal. We were staying for a week (and it's quite likely there is a minimum stay of a week) and were given 2 rolls of cheap toilet paper for a family. When we contacted the management company and asked them if they could drop off additional supplies, we were told that they would not provide any additional. For almost $400 per night, that is not acceptable. Particularly, because this is a vacation area with a single grocery store that closes early and is overpriced. 3. Mgmt of this property is doing the exact opposite of providing a welcoming vacation home. In summary, the property is beautiful, however because of these other items, we would have difficultly recommending it for the price.
