Stayed Nov 25, 2025I didn’t expect the room to be as small as it was. And the half curtains on every window were kind of troublesome to me. I kept having to adjust them to make sure that nobody can look inside. There was one right on the front porch and the guy staying in the other room was over 6 feet tall and he could look right over the top of the curtain into our bed basically. We also found some used underwear under the bed when we went to check out,in an empty wrap and an empty wrapper of goldfish crackers. So clearly not cleaning as deeply as they probably could? We definitely won’t be back.

Stayed Sep 6, 2025Great location! The street was a bit noisy as head of the bed in Comanche is against a busy road.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025There is a security camera outside pointed at the front door that is also in line with the bedroom window that only has a half curtain on it. You can see the camera when laying in bed. For a property that only host couples, it’s a bit concerning.Everything else about the property was wonderful. I just wish that there were a full curtain on that window

Stayed Jan 31, 2025We had a wonderful time! The place was perfect for us. My hubby who doesn't know a stranger started talking to our neighbors (a group of friends also visiting) they were a blast. Tons of shopping close by. The place was clean, romantic, and perfect for us! Highly recommend!

Stayed Oct 30, 2024My wife and I rented this property based on the glowing, now questionable, reviews. The room itself was clean/functional except for lack of trash receptacles (only one by toilet), a television fixed to the wall; could only be watched from the couch, and the 'rib high' bottom frame of the bed which was hard to navigate and inflicted pain on both of us. The good: room had nice tub/shower, good San Saba soap products, and comfortable bed. I could live with the small, irritating, inconveniences, however, the noise level is crazy! The headboard of the bed is located against the front window of the house, literally 35 feet from Main Street/Hwy. 87. The property is located on the west end near the outskirts of main street, thus, where the tractor trailers (semi's), trucks, motorcycles, etc. accelerate and/or use their 'jake brakes' all night long! The highway actually gets louder at night because this is when the trucks move through the town (less traffic), hot rods/harley's race their engines... ALL NIGHT! We brought our own fan; we like to sleep with fan noise... hopefully this would drown out other noise... WRONG! We are sound sleeper's but were startled awake all night long. To top off the sleepless nights, the windows are only partially covered, thus, room darkness ended at sunrise. We rented this property for (3) nights, however, left after (2). Our nice/relaxing weekend getaway ended early in exhaustion and frustration... this place may work for the deaf but nobody else
